The continuing evolution of Within Temptation continues. They started out as a Goth Metal band with 1st album Enter, then shifted to Symphonic Metal for their next 3 albums (Mother Earth, The Silent Force, and The Heart of Everything), Then shifted to Symphonic Rock with the next 2 (The Unforgiving, and Hydra). Their last album (Resist) was heavy Pop Rock and honestly does not resemble how the band sounded in the early days. Not sure how I feel about this drastic shift but press releases in the past have alluded to this happening.
I would take that any day over a band that has released 7 studio albums over a 25 year period that all sound essentially the same and haven't evolved. Change or Die. Bands who don't evolve usually hit a peak of popularity at some point and then slowly fade down to a sustainable level. In 25 years, WT haven't done that and their most recent output, the incredible single "Shed My Skin" is a clear indication that they are not done yet by any means.
Just a suggestion, how about doing a little research into the band you are about to feature? Within Temptation have been around for 26 years so there's no shortage of info on them online and plenty of stuff on YT. To be honest, I found your complete ignorance about Within Temptation a little embarrassing.
