This will get lost in a sea of comments, but... My mom used to be the caretaker of this small, old castle that you see in the video (Schloss Marquardt, Germany). I used to play soccer with my dog in the big banquet hall and play all around and inside the castle. This video holds a close place to my heart. Truly beautiful "memories" for me, personally. I was 10 when this was filmed and not much later I became a huge Within Temptation fan and am still to this day. I deeply regret not asking for an autograph when they were right there, filming in our little castle haha

This will get buried; but, I really appreciate this song (and band!) right now as a longtime fan since 2005. I can say that WT's music really united friends and me across international borders over the years. One of my friends passed away suddenly in September; but we loved listening to Within Temptation's music and sharing new songs with each other. I just wanted to say thanks to the band for that. I've been listening to this song since Ana Nicole Smith died in 2007. Somebody played a tribute for her, and her son with this song 😢 I have been a fan ever since

I listen mainly to female vocalists, but she's one of the highest pitched ones I like. I do have the odd preference for rather deep female vocals and a bit into the direction of soul. I really wonder, why I like her voice so much, when the other high-pitched ones annoy me.
