TOP O' THE MORNING
You ever been just about to fall asleep and then you think of something really cool and then it keeps you up for the rest of the night? Yeah, that's essentially what this was.
I couldn't help fixated after finishing the series on how every issue was just sort of ignored rather than fixed all because of "yay, they're reunited!"
I personally believe that it'd have been more realistic to have some sort of resentment touched up in the conclusion. This trio was far from fundamentally perfect, they had and went through a lot of hardships and bumps. Though I choose to mainly focus on Axel in this video, there is no doubt that Xion and Roxas could have also harbored some grudges from their time under the Organization.
This video is meant to bring to light just how hard Axel tried to be a good friend to them and just how much he put at risk to do so all for Roxas and Xion to up and abandon him. Even if Axel understood why it had to be done, at least in Xion's case, there would still most likely be times where he wondered if it was best or even regretted letting them leave as he did.
It's implication is a bit dark but still I personally love the theme of it. I also may remake it later to fix the clip issues.
I do not own anything used in this video. Axel, Xion and Roxas all belong to Square Equinox and Disney and "Within You" was sung by David Bowie. I own nothing.
