Love mine. Great video. My watch is the Withings Steel HR that tracks heart rate, steps and sleep - and it is also fantastic! Last time I went for my check up I just handed my phone to my doctor 😀
YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR REVIEW. In late 2022, someone at Withings/Health Mate thought the app needed upgrading, and in doing so completely wrecked the functionality. My scales no longer talk to my app, and despite uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times under instruction from Withings, disassociating, resetting, rebooting it still failed to work. It used to be a good hardware software marriage, now it's ruined. Your review while current and relevant at the time is no longer that way. If I saw your review and then bought the scales, I'd be disappointed in the scales and angry that you failed to mention the pitfalls of the app update.
But how well is the connectivity? I’ve tried several “smart scales” the past few years, most recently the fit bit scale. My assessment is they do not stay connected through WiFi or Bluetooth and setup has been difficult even for someone who is technology savvy.
I’ve only used it for a month so. I can’t speak on long term of this one. However my body+ when they were under Nokia is still synced to my family iPad. And my wife used it to track her pregnancy weekly
So, how come you don't show the scale's screen displaying body fat? I doubt it's because you're shy; rather, I think it's because the scale does not do that.
Hey Kevin great video, I know I assigned some weight to family members but for some reason I don't know how to assign weight on the app? For example if I go on it, and then my sister goes on it, obviously we are two different weights, it read it that way. The problem started once my mom went on the scale. Now, my mom and sister are almost the same weight. How do I change my sister's weight off my mom's profile? Thank you.
Hi, thank you for this interesting review! Does this magi device have voice assitant for blind users? Is it possible to check it in settings? Of course IPhone and Apple Watch that I've got are accessible co they have VoiceOver. But what about scales?
The Withings pictures look beautiful and the watches are. But Withings forget you as soon as you have paid the product. Withings support is unreachable. So keep fingers crossed you will never have a frozen watch.
Their software and setup is horrendous. Its very difficult to even setup a wifi connection. I have other smart devices (plugs, locks) and its way easy to configure anything on there than this scale.
Withings body + weight tracks ok. But! - fat, water, bone, muscle monitoring is inaccurate. Variations of 5 to 7 kgs daily is not even close to accurate. worst purchase in a very long time.
