Inspired by this guy / on-the. . we decided to make a tribute movie to our favourite movie, Withnail and I, by re-visiting the original filming locations, 30 years later.
It's not quite up to his standards, but for a first attempt, it's not bad we think. Besides, we had great fun making it!

Great job, went up to Wet Sledale to pay homage at the house and river, it was wet but worth every step I had a fantastic time but the ex missus was an ignorant type and did get what all the fuss was about with the house and river and a few other withnail and I locations. It was magical to me and I would like to return one day to drink cider and discuss butter. Thank you all for your hard work 👊

That was FANTASTIC ! Thank you for doing this ! And you showed real dedication getting into the stream. I can remember an on-set photo from the Regent's Park (?) and an article in the paper about the production when it was being filmed in 1986. Good gravy - 36 years ago ! Back then, that was the same time distance ... to 1950. Oh no, time is flying !

@@There_Will_Be_Bond yes I did manage to visit Palmyra, I only had a few hours stopover so I hired a car and drove there, I had a couple of hours there to myself until some rabid-looking dogs chased me out!
