I love that this works for you but is it bpa free? Is it safe to put hot caramel on plastic? And then steaming plastic? I am truly curious. They turned out pretty awesome though!

I tried pouring the caramel into my plastic container just like shown in the video and my container cracked. Maybe my caramel is too hot. 😅

There is a reason why you don't heat up ordinary plastic .. you need to use porcelain Ramekins for this purpose

Yes, use aluminium cups. Not plastic. Plastic makes cancerous chemicles when use for like this purposes. Can give only advice. Descision is yours.
