honestly I wish that they'd just make these original movies instead of constantly pretending like they're based on Tom Clancy's work, like, I really had high hopes for MBJ as John Clark and setting up Rainbow Six etc. but now my hopes for a good Rainbow Six movie are all but dashed, at this point I wouldn't be surprised if their version of "Rainbow Six" was basically an Avengers style team-up of Tom Clancy's leading dudes, John Clark, Jack Ryan and whoever else they could scrape out

This is one of those movies that are just fine but would probably have a better sequel. But I did very much enjoy Jodie Turner-Smith shes growing as an actor.

I thought the movie was ok but I have agree about actually adapting the source material. This really did seem to be a setup for Rainbow Six more than a serious Clancy movie. I tried watching the Jack Ryan series but I just couldn't get into it for some reason. Red Storm Rising is my favorite Clancy novel and I would love to see a series made out if it.

I'm still waiting for Tom Clancy the division movie that's coming out for netflix.

Just read the book and it was really good. They were literally gifted with an awesome story and just ignored it.

They should had done some more takes because, every time he’d delivered a line I just wasn’t feeling it. Almost makes you feel like your watching the same character from another film...and that’s not good imo

I kinda just took it as badass saves the day everyday and I loved.

CONS: There was alot of useless dialogue. Maybe it's just me, but the sets looked super cheap, specifically Aleppo. PROS: The movie does deliver as far as action goes. The opening scene when they came out of the pool was pretty dope. People who've never read the books will probably enjoy this alot more. They could've just slapped another name on the movie and made it a standalone, instead of tying it in with the books.

Appreciate you bringing up how these clearly talented and skilled filmmakers/producers can produce a mediocre straight to streaming drivel that contrasts from the dark, brutal and compelling origin story of the prolific CIA Fixer throughout numerous stories of the Tom Clancy Book series. They've already fumbled the ball with the setup for Rainbow Six already (having frigging Ritter be a part of its creation? WTF?) and I would tell fans to manage their expectations and know they are definitely not basing it off the book for its sequel. And something worth knowing, this has languished in development for 20+ years of stars coming and going, along with massive rewrites (which Sheridan was brought on for in its final form and knowing that the other screenwriter was ugh...Modern Warfare 3 explains that BS climax of a one man army literally killing faceless soldiers left and right without any consequences but for the cool points) and literally having a gem on their hands and completely making this.

Was hyped for this but it kinda fell short for me

Disappointed it isn't going to be along the story of the book. Absolutely love Clancy's books, and this is one of my favorites. But I'll give it a chance. Similar situation to the Bourne movies, doesn't really follow the book, but they did a great job with those just taking the outline of the character and modernizing it. So hopefully they did well here, I will see soon!!

HOLY SHIT does it show that they got a COD guy to write this. The action, directing, shooting, stunts, w/e its all good but every individual line of dialogue is the most boring/cliched possible version of itself. Action isn't always my favorite part of a film but for this movie if there wasn't a gun or flames on the screen, I was asleep or wishing I was lol.

I’ve waited a long time for this film to be made. This film has nothing to do with the book. I think the creators made a lot of poor choices.The film was very bad and Tom Clancy would have been hugely disappointed with the film. It’s a shame. The book is really good. Thank you for the video

Taylor Sheridan was not the only writer on Without Remorse. His first script was heavily re-written that is why the dialouge is so cringe in some scenes.

The woman only passed a 2 week SOAS process but wasn’t selected for a SEAL contract to behind BUD/S. So she really didn’t do anything besides 2 weeks of pre training. Still dope that she made it through that tho, my ass couldn’t do that that’s for sure.
