Well, true capitalism in which _anyone_ with capital can use it to provide for himself and his community will always be around. However, "crony capitalism" can easily lead to socialism because of the _increase in centralization_ of the means of production. It is when large private interests use the regulatory and other mechanisms of the state to consolidate their control over the economy of a society. Ideally, the state should maintain the viability of the economy through regulation so that everyone has the chance to prosper from it.
Long live the people, Mao said People say long live Mao The real answer is long live the people, but if Mao didn't appear, there would be no such answer
This is the best version I've heard. Amazing editing! Thank you so much for uploading this on a very special day. Without the Communist Party, there would be no new China. Long live CCP! Long live China!
But now the Communist Party of China has become a monarchy and it is only on the surface that the Communist Party is actually a dictatorial government. Then the people’s life is very difficult and if you see that what is very beautiful is only on the surface and then never true, then ordinary people have nothing to say. Free and fair, and China blocks all foreign websites, and then can only live in the brainwashing society of the Communist Party and everything is related to the Communist Party of China, and it will become more and more like the next North Korea! And the Communist Party is very bad! I even hope that the Republic of China will rule the entire China, not the Communist Party!
Happy 100th birthday of Chinese Communist Party . Long live china 🇨🇳 long live chinese communism party 🎉🎉 May chairman mao bless All comrade 😘😘 fight for communism . Red Sun in our hearts
China’s gdp per captia 10,500. America’s is 4 times that. I didn’t realize liberation meant making everyone poor through shitty economic policy that only benefits the government

Avanti verso nuove vittorie. W il Partito Comunista cinese. W il glorioso popolo della Repubblica popolare cinese. W il marxismo Leninismo. W il comunismo in tutto il mondo
1:57 If I'm not mistaken, this footage is from the PLA's starting offensive against Kalgan (now Zhangjiakou) as part of the Pingjin Campaign in November 1948.
The actual storming of the Nanjing presidential palace was quite peaceful and the photo of Communists troops was taken the day after the liberation. The ROC's presidential palace is actually embarrassingly pathetic and would probably qualify as a run down motel by today's standards. Still preferable to Mao's cave headquarters however.
My grandparents joined the communist revolution when they were young. Both were from wealthy families. Later they were persecuted for their bourgeois family backgrounds. My grandmother went to jail and my grandfather was sent to a labour camp. During the cultural revolution their home was raided at gunpoint in the middle of the night. My mother was nine. Later, my grandparents went into hiding from the red guards for a year, leaving their children to fend for themselves. My parents left China soon after reform and opening up. My grandfather told them not to return for fear that they would have their passports confiscated and that they would be prevented from leaving China. I didn't see my grandparents for most of my life and never got to know them. My mother suffered from mental health problems throughout her life, no doubt due to the trauma inflicted on her as a child. I grew up hearing of the horrible things that she saw and experienced during her childhood. Life was cheap and death and suffering was all around. On my father's side of the family, his parents had their small business and assets confiscated. One of his uncles was hung up and beaten for failing to give up his savings to the communists. They lived in poverty for most of their life. The PRC may have achieved great things but it was at the cost of families like mine and countless others whose families were broken or lives destroyed. The state trumps all. I am no fan of communism, but if it weren't for the communist revolution in China, my grandparents would not have met, and I wouldn't be here. Such is the absurdity of life.
My mother told me about a relative whose father was an officer in the KMT. After the communists took power, his father was sent to jail. His mother had to divorce his father to keep her children safe. Thankfully my relative avoided being persecuted but he had to keep his head down and his wits about him. He grew up without this father. Later, his father was released from jail but he was already old. Thankfully his mother took his father back and they reunited as a family. I am sure there are countless stories like these of families torn apart by war and things I could never imagine in a million years.
