@@austinhunt8050 he realized there wasn't any real way to undo the princess carry without making it more awkward/like a couple trying not to be noticed. So just bit the bullet in the anime because while this would make him and Cayna get teased mercilessly on this trip it would probably be forgotten by the week after they go their separate ways, whereas if they undid the princess carry right away neither of them would live it down. Actually Cayna might but only because everyone willing to talk about the incident might end up angering her to the point she go silver ring witch mudder rampage.

Shining Saber was their junior, and every time they see him, they like to take the piss out of him. They good naturedly scold him a little about their "little Missy" aka Cayna. Arbiter and the mercs are a little protective and quite fond of her
