Amazing that Krzysztof Urbanski conducts this without partiture, sheet music! He seems to be quite familiar with this music. And so seems the orchestra to be. Together they convince me of the musical quality of this performance. Music from Poland is always interesting, thank you.
If you ever have a chance to see this conductor in concert, go! He really explores sounds in compositions, in a truth seeking way (the best I can explain it). This is one of my new favorite compositions. Thanks for that-special gift.
