Wiz wasnt so much op. Op would mean its got too good of a effectiveness to ease of use ratio. To the point where you really should just be playing wiz. But in higher lvl comp wiz was just needed cuz magic resistance was just not buildable. So if someone had pdr and u had no wiz itd be kinda over.

Bruh no, thr true dmg nerf is way more impactfull for magic dmg than phys. More hp means burst dmg is less valued. Scaling on missile is way down, and with the new AND less true magic dmg it rly cant be used for pvp like it used to be. Panther form is a new fairly easy to hit silence and the cast speed got hit recently too. Really the only reason wiz is still viable is because magic damage is still a really big advantage in most comps cuz u have to dedicate a build to get good mr. And wiz is the most conventional caster, with slows, hitscans, aoe and not needing line of sight. But i dont see many wizards nowadays compared to like bards, barbs and druids.

@@Magetastic69 lightning strike has area of effect and can be cast through/past teammates. fireball, chain, both can hit around corners. on wizard, just use double spell memory and take all the dmg spells.

@@Magetastic69 just leave the right wheel on default, haste, invis, zap, fireball, magic missile. right side get chain, lightning strike, icebolt with 2 slots up to you, i like slow and magic lock.

base kit wizard has always been terrible but scales quick base kit mm doing like 11 dmg or something and cleric has decent MR
