So I’ve actually had the pleasure of meeting Walter twice now and he’s absolutely delightful! He’s a never ending fountain of Oz knowledge and truly giving of his time. I’m so glad you featured his collection! 🙌🏼💚👠

@@DDumbrille You don't have to be a child to collect any memorabilia even The Wizard Of Oz!👧🐺🏡🌪🌈🤡🤖🦁👰💂💂 Just look on ebay! Lol 😂 and you can make money too! 💰
3:01 I saw this in a shop not too long ago , I asked my mom to buy me this for my birthday, mainly because I grew up with the Wizard of Oz and the Wicked Witch Of The West was my favorite character. She refused , and told me that it's weird that someone would like Witches . She never understood me one bit. She may not like Wicked witches , yet she is one.
3:04 SUPER rare plush & vinyl dolls (the large ones, "Dorothy" in the blue dress w/ red hair ). They were based on a super cheezy cartoon version that I used to watch as a kid.
I am a little munchkin LOL! you are a good person. i admire your strength, your passion, and your hopes and dreams. good luck to you. i am a true believer of surrounding myself with happy surroundings. you have certainly done that with this fantastic collection. happily subscribed!
BTW the dorothy pillow behind you in the video, because of the odd shape of the pillow corners made me think it was Jane Jetson, I laughed when I realized my mistake.
Have you seen Return to Oz and Oz the Great & Powerful? I like them but I think the original film is the best. Also, I think your collection is amazing and hope your dream comes true! x
Hey wally, never have seen this clip before, now that was interesting. Sorry I never got to go to your house. I'm hoping all is allright with you. Can't catch your new show, so went a different venue and saw more on this clip I want you to succeed, buddy, and hope your dreams come true. Friend for a lifetime. Was great working with you. Keep the faith. You'll be on top of the world.
I really enjoyed this video of yours. Of all your cool stuff I was especially taken by the "silver" slippers. Our Victorian Farmhouse has a winding yellow brick road and a life sized tinman, and stiped legs sticking out from beneath the house that were originally silver but after hundreds of people telling me I did the shoes wrong I decided to make them red, seems I was disturbing people's opportunity to skip down by pathway by confusing them, so rather than spoil some kids chance to be in Oz, I gave in to public pressure, and keep the silver shoes by the Oz books in the living room.
I saw his 'collection' too. He may have spent $450k on it, but it's certainly not worth anywhere near that. Maybe 70k tops. I feel like Simon Cowell saying this, and sincerely hate to burst your bubble as he seems like a really, really nice guy, but most of his collection seems to be made up of cheap toys from the 1980's and 1990's, coloring books, dolls, buttons and a lot of worthless things from "Return to Oz". Even worse, he has Oz shopping bags and other knick-knacks from the MGM Grand hotel. I'm sorry, that isn't collecting, that's hoarding. On the flip side, his Oz books, the Baum autograph, the peanut butter jars, the Oz board game from 1939, and of course the Winkie spear that was actually used in the 1939 film are all RARE, and thus very valuable, unlike the piles and piles and shelves and shelves of mass-produced 'stuff'. Again, he seems like a really nice guy, very sweet. I just wonder if some of this 'collecting' is his way of making up for the loss of his mother? Just a guess of course.
If he does not currently have them, I'd like to know if he is possibly interested in my small collection of Wizard of Oz Matty Mattel Inc. Barbie dolls c1999/2000 model given to me by my grandmother. They are worth a lot to me so I wont part with them easily but if I were to I'd like it to be with someone who would really appreciate them. Otherwise I plan to hold onto them for my future children. I currently have; Dorothy w/ Dog, Glinda, Tin Man, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion.
I need this dude as my bestie!!💜 Omg I love WoZ!!!! So of course,I love this collection! I'd love to share my (somewhat) smaller collection with Mr. Krueger!
I love "The Wizard of Oz" too so feel no shame about people who said otherwish, as a kid i was opsessed when i watched the Japan cartoon series "Ozu no Mahōtsukai" that had 52 episodes that was Translated in my country as "De Tovernaar van Oz" in Dutch but it was also translated fot the Frence tv as "Le Magicien d'Oz", i do own this series full on dvd with all 52 episodes, and of course i love all the movies that has to do with Oz land.
I like The Wizard of Oz; I have a Dorothy musical doll (made by "Green Tree"), and a Dorothy pendant. When I was 18, I was crazy about the film Girl Crazy. I wish Mickey Rooney had been in The Wizard of Oz, perhaps as a handsome Munchkin prince.
This is the best Collection of OZ memorabilia I have seen. Does anyone know if this man got a museum opened up? I have over a thousand unique OZ pieces that I am putting up for sale, so wanted to see if there is a contact for Walter Krueger.
3:02 VERY RARE !! even if a bit goofy and unlicensed by MGM . LOL. I don;t like limited edition merchandise -- I LOVE stuff like this cheezy vinyl bag!
Your so cool! I would love to see all your stuff! I am looking for the collection of the books that L Frank Baum made first copy first edition, can we e-mail?
I have a Cowardly Lion music box that I’ve had since I was four and it is my only officially licensed Wizard of Oz item that I own but I am interested in other Wizard of Oz music boxes to add to my collection.
Thank you for your video I’m also a collector Of Lord of the rings. For 13 year now I do have some The wonderful wizard of oz stuff that I got. I really still like to talk to you one day .
Today I followed this thread down a rabbit hole. January 21,2022 . I wrote this because I had thought back to a trip taking me through WHEELING W. VIRGINIA. THIS TOWN WAS AMERICAS WEALTHIEST AROUND 1900 TO 1910. Anyway , I have a very , very distinct memory of one pair of the original RUBY SLIPPERS DISPLAYED THERE. IT WAS IN AN EXTREMELY HIGH END ANTIQUES STORE. THEY WERE IN A WNIDOW DISPLAY OF FORTIFIED UNBREAKABLE GLASS. THEY WERE REAL. THAT WAS AT LEAST 45 TO 55 YEARS AGO. THIS IS A BREADCRUMB. TO EVEN FIND THE DIRECT VECINITY OF A PAIR IS WORTHWHILE FOR A SLUETH. ID LOOK UP DEALERS , ADS IN PAPERS MAYBE THEY RATED AN ARTICLE IN A SMALL CITY PAPER AT THE TIME. CONSIDERING THIER REVERENCE, WHO KNOWS. GOOD LUCK IF IT HELPS LEAD SOMEONE TO THEM.
Yay, im 1000 likes. 😂 Oh I bought the wizard of Oz yesterday to read maybe I should read it but it's kind of the shorthand version maybe I should get the bigger version the longer one. There's a few books I've been wanting to read.
It's good if you can find something that causes you no aggravation, in life, at all; sadly, I find that such a thing is very elusive.....Full House, such a heartwarming show, has been a source of aggro, because it didn't take off here in the UK; I had to wait years to see seasons 5-8! I recently thought the series Deadwood may be an unalloyed source of joy; and so it would be, if it wasn't for other fans, online, criticising a female character's axillary hair (and thus effectively worshipping my old secondary-school bullies).
I love your house im a wizard of oz obsessed person too I may not have all of the wonderful stuff u have but i have a few things and I'm glad I found someone that's the same person I am plz reply
Oz has been so dear to my heart all these many years as well. Have you guys seen this yet?: FOUND!! The LOST sequel to The Wizard of OZ! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-u7M5c0xfmGc.html Completely magical!
The movie was a piece of trash compared to everything the books talked about. The witch was barely mentioned, and the real stories of the characters are so cool. It was really just a political and economical allegory but nobody reads anymore *sigh*
