That Ambrose was only an illusion, I guess if they really wanted to end the game, they'd really let you battle Ambrose for him to witness how far you've come!
@@mobapenguin888 idk...I feel like there would have to be a storyline where you learn the ways to be a headmaster. And then something interrupts the spiral and the school so you save your old,headmaster and the school and officially get labeled the headmaster....idk I'm just spitting things out here
@konliber that's exactly what I was speculating upon! They set it up from the very beginning that if they're ever gonna end (or have to end) W101, they'd let you face Ambrose as your last worthy opponent, only for you to become headmaster of Ravenwood!
KI outdone themselves with empyrea2. it was BEAUTIFUL! the dream world and ravenwood was sooo mystical! Reverie felt so awesome as a name because it reminded me of one piece reverie arc. Empyrea2 was WORTH THE WAIT!

i noticed it !!! as balance wiz i saw it straight away lol. wasnt all that surprised by it though i knew if he was shielding all he would shield balance too and i think ive seen one before
Maybe kingsile is planning to bring a balance shield in the game that at a certain level you can get as a balance wizard. It would be one of those side card quests that you have the option to get.
This was a crazy boss fight and it changed everything! I LOVED IT SOOO MUCH! Oh btw this might be wrong but when I was doing this I thought the more shields you take off of him the more health he loses? Might be to totally off but when I first did this I thought that happened
I mean, it makes more sense to do it now than back then. I haven't played test realm, but from your video it looked like the council of light was sort of opposed to the arcanum
nah i'd rate a 6 out of 10 for me also it doesnt make me wonder how they'll top off the third arc btw this is called an opinon, so dont at me little kids
lots of quality in the battles and writing, but not so much in the reuse of old assets yet again, probably even more than before. there is nothing else that's new and the new spells are obviously low effort - using already existing assets, and clearly unfinished sounds and animations.
I forgot to mention that I watched the entirety of tara's live stream, and saw old cob exposed, as well as interactions between Raven and Spider. My comment about how they could top it off is a question directed at the spoiler wall towards the end of test realm. Just really curious how they're planning to finish third arc (my bet is that Spider and Raven make amends, seeing that KI has plans for a 4th story arc, and if either Raven or Spider is defeated, the Spiral will be no more).
test realm doesn't change the fact that they still reuse many assets and the spells are low effort. at least before, we got new spells that were actually finished. these aren't finished at all and are terrible.
Ehh... knowing which school is opposite of the bubble he gives you doesn't really make you "think." It's relatively common knowledge. Seems like an easy/boring fight imo
I always assumed that Ambrose would be the final boss in the game and that he would be one of the celestial schools due to his knowledge of the spiral and his clothes.
I solo ed this boss. I quest as solo ice player and omg it was so hard to figure out. I just randomly picked cards and by end somehow I won the battle. of course I used life henchman
It seems to me like Empyrea part 2 has been like a testing field for KI adding new mechanics for battles, new and improved cutscenes, i think that some sort of challenge mode could be added to the game such as "Defeat certain enemy or boss with specific spells or health points" or maybe elite level dungeons (Not talking about exalted challenges" to make an example Malistaire's dungeon but enemies are stronger and the final battle has changed something like how it was when the game was first released or Big Ben but clockworks somehow modifies the clock in the top floor and depending on the position different effects are present in the battlefield, seeing how they are improving the game a lot of cool stuff can be done.
honestly just seeing this dungeon makes me so excited for empyrea pt 2 in live realm. it looks so interesting and i think the story lines gonna be soo good
Archangel, you can see how much damage you're doing with the ring of color around the enemy's feet. 8400 damage takes about 3/4 of his health according to that.
I've watched this over and over, and did exactly as Blaze did, as I'm Storm too, and somehow failed. I don't know what happened but yes I agree fantastic so far.

so by dumb luck i ended up soloing this easily by accident in no time at all. i messed up on the first question but i noticed he said whats the opposite school and i got that right then one shot him next
this isn’t real merle, it’s melloris interpretation of how ambrose would fight. nobody has ever seen merle ever fight so this boss isn’t even a good comparison to ambrose
Blaze might have mentioned in the video and I didn't catch it, but why was his opposing school fire ( 4:30)? Wouldn't it be myth since he is a storm wizard??? Thanks
Hey Blaze, I just wanted to say that you are a great person. And that if something is troubling you follow my advice when I say to pretend that it doesn't bother you at all whether if it is toward someone or something. Just a nice message from a fan is all lol. By the way amazing video.
So I have a question (it might sound stupid but I’m exhausted and trying to stay awake in the ER) I always thought the opposite of storm was myth. So how is it fire here? Am I not grasping something?
