They said due to all gear having each piece being individually designed to fit the character model and animation, they won't update the character models

this was supposed to be a usual bundle that gave gear (hat, robe, boots, wand, pet, mount) + a special Gauntlet, but they decided to scrap that idea and remove the gear so they can make it exclusive to a PACK. the bundle itself STILL costs $39 (gauntlet + 7.5k crowns). and judging by this, it's a terrible pack with abnormally high reagent chance, the only redeeming part of the reagents would be the clay to craft the gauntlet, but if you already have the gauntlet in some manner, it's empty space. personally, the gear looks terrible, and I normally don't care much about that. I view the mount as more of a Myth-like mount, but regardless it's definitely something to grow on.
@Max The Random Lepurchaun and stitching costs crowns, regardless of how cheap it is. we'd be spending who-knows-how-much crowns to get the gear, only to spend even more just to look appealing.
anon there is no item in the game they could design that would make me want to change my stitch, and that is the case for most players, so the look of the gear is absolutely irrelevant
I like how when i returned about a month agao, i had crowns tp buy 1 pack, either the sinbad or a Halloween pack. I choose the Halloween pack and got both a wand and the deer night pet on my first draw. I cried so much
I got the perm mount on first pack opening! Never have that luck! One weird note I got all pets which come with blade then when training to adult they all had feint card🤷🏻♀️ I’m not the only one too! Emailed support

Omg I couldnt get the nimbari wand for my max storm and so happy i got the storm wand with 115 crit and 21 damage on my second opening. 😍😍😍😍 with this pack so super duper Happy
I got the Snappy Gryphon pet while trying get Ratatoskr's Spin on my Life. It's a Balance pet that gives Balance Blade. If the talents are good, I'll give it to my Balance Wizard.
“Ask & you shall receive” - Gets perm mount in under 4K crowns but yet can’t pull a single wand lol. After giving the mount the pack told you “Nope I only grant 1 wish, & you asked for a mount first. Enjoy” lol
I made two of the gauntlets today. I did have to do transmute some clays as the White clay , the Magnificat clay, is hard to get. I am a bit disappointed in the rate of drop of this mount though. I got the gear, and all the pets, so so cute. I hope I get that mount though. Love it, its too cute.
I could feel the disappointment from not getting the wand. I saw the notification in a discord server and I'm honestly not thrilled with a new pack, considering how the grizzleheim lore pack went for most. I would really appreciate it if KI would bring up new content, the gauntlet would only satisfy for a little while. That said, i hope the last update for the year isn't crap, haven't renewed membership since last month
Got lucky i guess friend gifted me like 5 packs i pulled the wand not even joking. My storm does 99% critical and 166 damage or with max ring it does 165 damage 100% crit and with enough spare critical to switch to morganthe amulet if i want. The wand feels VERY pay to win. Even the ice stats destroy crafted wands no joke. I should know i went to craft the 115 one and here we go with this.

I had played this game since 2008 and pretty much quit by 2012 because KI got hooked on the idea of wizardly loot boxes. It was fun at first. Testing your luck to see if you got that Wyvern mount you wanted or that spooky horse mount but then they kept going and going. All this is is theft. It leaves a bitter taste in my mouth thinking that even today KI thinks of new innovative ways for kids and families to waste money on virtual items in a game where the graphics are about as great as a PS2 game.
When I was younger, I LOVED this game. I used to have my Mom buy me 60000 crowns for either Christmas, My Birthday or some random day when my Mom was fine with getting me something expensive ( Rare lol ), I only got crowns on the sale, so 60000 was $60 ( Still Expensive ), I'd buy packs with them, IT WAS A HUGE WASTE OF MONEY ( And a waste of a present, Idk why I picked expensive crowns :\ ), Over 200 dollars! Wasted on crowns, It hurts me knowing I wasted so much money D: Honestly, If I got back into Wizard101, I'd only buy membership, If I need a mount, I'll just go grind bosses that drop them
@@tomyvecety5715 I know that. I was referring to the fact that the drop rates for items in both packs are the same. Most of the time you get housing items, reagents, and jewels, then lower chance to get other stuff like gear, pets, and a perm mount.
I'm not gonna touch this. Honestly, KI seems to be going somewhere, but every good idea they have they use to grab money. Craftable gauntlet? Awesome, but I have to spend money to get it anyway. New spells? I am so hype! But you can't craft them, the loremaster's drop rate on spells is awful, you can spend a whole day there and get maybe one spell, which won't even be the one you want, so the most reliable way, and probably the only way you're going to get it is to buy their packs. All new gear is locked behind a paywall. Granted, it's not the greatest gear ever, so you don't really need it, but then, why does it even exist? Do things to get points and special rewards? Well, half of it is locked, including the actual good stuff, pay 15$ dollars for it. I can forgive that one a bit more because purely optional, and the beastmoon and deckathalon are fun in their own way, regardless of points, and it's not that unusual of a system there. People who pay will get more. That's how every game works. Still, I wish they'd drop more stuff like the four dungeons. Those were awesome. I get it takes time, but how long did sinbad take? Darkmoor is amazing, probably the best of W101, and it seems we'll never get anything like it again. Honestly hope a new world comes out soon. I'm gonna get tired of just playing the side systems.They're so close to greatness but they're really milking it.
I just spent 50k trying to get professors wand and gulture mount and now I need to get this wand lol time to buy more crowns Lol why are people worried about how I spend my money? Get your broke ass out of here and worry about urself
