The spell is cool but being part of a pack is really disappointing. Especially since pack spells in the past were unique instead of all using the same animation
Haven't played the game in years, quite sad to see this standardization in spell animations. One of the things that got me interested in playing the various schools was their unique spells.
@@Kiiwii-birb Not only this, but you have other spells like Golems, King Art, Onis, Jinns, Scions, and the Lemuria spells which are the same theme or literal recolors.
They aren't exactly the same animation but rather similar animation. It's like king artorius each spell has a different color and side effect the balance spell hits the enemy then he does another animation on the enemy while leaving the infection traps but the fire one does the fire hit animation then he walks up to you to animate the heal.
the spell animation is fine but i wish they woulda changed it up for each school. Instead of just multicolored lightning bolts maybe pillars of fire for the fire spell, black thorns for the death, so on and so forth.
The ice spell uses a universal trap, not chromatic. Same with death's blade, which is basically a dark pact on the enemy instead of yourself. And you can use potent trap and sharpened blade on these. And the sameness of the animation is just like the King Artorious spells, just with a different color depending on the class it is.
If all the spells were backwards synergy, the life spell would produce a blade and the death spell would produce a shield. I think they just filled whatever niche they wanted to give each school.
Sad that the storm one is so bad. It's weaker than storm shark with worse synergy with HoT than storm shark. Why did they give the school with 5 turn HoTs a spell to extend them.
Im guessing they will later add a boss to drop these spellements like the others but for a now its pack only. But I will say, fire having a hit into a protected overtime heal is exactly what I need
I'm a little disappointed it's pack-exclusive at the moment. I was kinda hoping for another King Artorius situation. I'll stockpile Gold Keys. Maybe next update they'll have a gold key boss to farm Dyvim Spellements
Feel like school identity is just like… becoming nonexistent. They could quickly fix this by just making, for example, the fire spell needing a lifeschool pip. Simple change that would fix my issues with this.
I think it would be better if storm's spell gave 2 -25% weaknesses instead of make it an extension on an already great heal which we don't really need to be extended
sorry but this spell update is a net negative. the animation is good! i like it! and dyvim is the best! but its a king art situation where everyone essentially got the same spell. and I thought the king art shit was lame then. also the fact that its a pack spell. i don't like pack spells but it is what it is. but if they're going to make a spell basically something you pay for, at least make it my money's worth! why the hell the life main getting the same shit as the death main? with the lore spells, the life got the cool ass 4 pip (used to be) squirrel spell and death got the also cool but unique headless pumpkin man spell. like....cmon now. and the fact that it has roshambo baked in....ugh, do not get me started. i don't even pvp but I'm not fond of roshambo as the not-causal typical player. if it's farmable, that's the only one I'm getting the spell, nothing about it screams to me to get it.
My guess if it does end up having a farmable spot for those who don't wish to buy the pack is it being put in a Golden Key boss, probably with awful drop rates.
If anything it'll be the same drop rate as other spellement drop rates i.e the 14 spellements per drop and if they create a boss for it more than likely its be balance.
