For wood keys a great way to get them is do the roberto quest on all your wizards but just take the wooden key and then stop doing the quest. I think you may only have to be like level 5 to get the quest so you could repeatedly make new wizards if you have an extra slot. EDIT: ok didn't realize you mentioned that in the video lmao
On the corrner across from the robes shope near the entrance to Old Town. WHen you've been playing for awhile, he sends you in-game currency every month that can only purchase his wares.
I still remember when I went to farm Takanobu for Catch of the Day. I had a whole bunch of keys (I barely ever use them), and was planning to have to use all of them to try and get the spell to drop. But to my surprise, he dropped it on the third try! I still have all the other keys... 😂
9:13 I'm gonna give you some good and weird advice when it comes to the Jabberwock, go second and place a TC -85% fire shield (sold by quite a few different treasure card vendors including Harold Argleston) on yourself whenever it's the round he cast his cheat meteor (the third round, and every three rounds after), going second is important because if you go first and cast the spell he or his minion may cast a fire attack which will get rid of your shield but if you go second they can't do that (keep in mind The Jabberwock cast his Meteor at the end of each third round).

Hey, I was free to play player a few years ago but have come back to the game with a member ship. Does this mean that the old bosses that dropped wooden keys before now won't? So if I don't have any wooden keys on me now I won't ever?? Thank you sm

@@PeytonWalters-f4zBasically they’ve turned some of the wooden & stone key bosses into gold, and gold now scales with player level (and arguably gives out the best rewards of rare spellements and hoard gear). The bosses that still take wood/stone keys do not scale in difficulty, and the non-gold keys can still be farmed for from the mentioned bosses.
I've been getting loads of Gold Keys. You can buy them from Majid if you're willing to spend his currency or most of the drops from the daily assignment seem to be gold keys. I'd like to find more wooden & stone keeys before they're gone.
Can you cover cool stitch ideas and where to get them? I saw the hat at 0:53 and it looks cool so I just thought of it. Plus I struggle with stitch designs.
You can just trade crowns for empowers and buy keys with them. 1 pack sells for 100 empowers and thats enough for like 5 runs of catch of the day/rampage spell dropper
So looked this up because someone posted elsewhere that gold keys don't drop from normal bosses anymore and are only a return from other wood stone or gold key bosses. Wiki only seems to show gold as far as i can tell in the middle of other things but will update this comment if i find any are lower
question: is there any reason to farm bosses other than those in wizard city? they are the easiest and doesn't more clears per hour = more wooden skeleton keys?

You can buy mounts in the crown shop for gold (I think the regular broom and brown horse are 50,000 gold) That is easy enough to get if you use all your energy fishing every day. I think that is doable in a week easily.
Thanks for this. I was wondering if you know if the boss Billy the Cutter still drops the dapper corgi? If so is there a good chance it will drop or is it hard to get? I only have 1 wood key and saw that they are phasing those out. Thanks for the help!
Yes, he still drops it but it can be a rare drop unfortunately so there’s no guarantee you’ll get it with just one wooden key so you may want to take that into consideration. Good luck!
