Alina christmas time is super busy there!! the very best time to go is the week right after thanksgiving lines are always no more than 10 minutes every year :) if you ever get the chance to come here you should if you’re a fan it’s truly an amazing experience

My wand from Ollivanders looked exactly like yours...It’s probably a different core.. ALSO if you wanted to get chosen, wear lots of merch , look really excited, and go to the front. They most of the time will opt for teens and kids first, so keep that in mind *also,thanks for the likes, I know key never get any

My wand is also the same lol but he said mine was birch and unicorn hair core. I got chosen over the children standing in front of me and I was quietly standing in the back so I must be really lucky 😂

@@intothedarkabyss8128 yes it is. You go with everyone into the shop and will get to watch the ceremony. Afterwords you will enter the shop where you can in fact purchase wands (they have custom ones that they use in the ceremonies or you can get an interactive character wand)

I really want to go to wizarding world, but I live in Norway so not gonna happen. But I saw Harry Potter and the cursed child in London yesterday and it was AMAZING! I did not like the script when I first read it, but seeing it on stage was so different and I loved it! Made me really want to re-read the books, have not read them in a couple of years :)

I really like your wand! It reminds me a little bit of George's wand. I really want to get a wand too! I can't really go to the Harry Potter World since I am not in America, but it's not gonna stop me :D I will order one online. I just think it's so cool to have your own wand :) Loved this video!

Getting picked by Olivander was also the highlight of my trip too! I got picked the first time over all the small children lol. My wand looks exactly like that one!! Except he said it was birch with unicorn hair as the core. Something about being loyal and a healing soul (my mom thought it scary how accurate he was). And I’m also a Hufflepuff 😊 was literally all smiles the rest of the day. It really is an experience you can’t describe!

Oh wow, I was wanting to make robes for me and my friends because we're planning on going one day and I wanted to put pockets for your phone and what not and one for your wand. Cool to see they already have one in it.

When I went to Universal last August, I got chosen in Ollivander’s. It was my first time in the Wizarding World, and my fiancé and I said we were only going to go through the line once, to keep it authentic. I kept telling myself that I wasn’t going to get chosen and that’s okay, because that’s not what it’s about. But then, I get chosen lol and I swear I blacked out because I do not remember most of the actual ceremony. It was incredible, and I am so happy to have my own wand. P.s. my fiancé and I did a lot of studying on wands so we could still pick our own wand, but if you actually ask an Ollivander’s worker, they will ask you questions and place you with a wand. They did that for my fiancé, so we both kinda had our wands chosen for us. :)

I've got one and they're great, but the thing is they're heavy. Orlando is often very hot, and you practically burn to death if you wear it over the summer.

I was recently at wizarding world in Orlando, and I found a wand on the ground!!! (the same one you got!) I was putting my bag in a locker to go on the gringotts ride and heard my foot kick something, so I looked and there it was. the wand chooses the wizard!!!! hahaha. I looked around to see if anyone was looking for it, but nobody seemed to have lost it so I held onto it.

I’m not sure if this is really the case but from my experience in universal studio japan, ollivander will probably choose you because you are wearing merchandise. I think it makes sense because you are more likely to spend money and actually buy the wand.

There are scratch marks on Newt’s because in the first film, when his egg was hatching in the bank, he needed to hold it, so he put his wand in his teeth!

The wand you got is the same as the one my friend got web she was chosen. I’m starting to think that all the hufflepuffs get the same one.... which means I’m next. I was really hoping for something more unique but who knows? When I finally get to experience the wizarding world after 18 years of dreaming, I’ll get the perfect wand ❤️

if you’re going to the one in orlando, DEFINITELY do all of your shopping in diagonal alley!! and definitely go into madam malkins even if you don’t get a robe the experience in there is just really cool!!! and don’t forget knockturn alley :) borgin and burkes is super cool

morgan adams no problem!!!! another pro tip, if you’re staying on property remember you get one hour early park admission to the wizarding world, and I would also recommend getting the quick service dining plan!! it works out to be about the same cost as just buying the food when you get there but it assures you won’t have to lay out the extra money once you get there and you get a free snack everyday that can be used on butterbeer :))

Random little thing, but I'm pretty sure that some of the little 'scratches' on Newt's wand are actually bite marks from when he puts his wand between his teeth in the movie. I really enjoyed watching this video. :)

have you ever been to the wizarding world in california? is it as good as the one in florida? i'm coming to america in june & trying to figure out which one to go to!!

@MariamRizvi Inmy opinion I believe that the Florida one is better because of the Hogwarts train. The train in California does not move while the one in Florida moves and takes you to the next park. It is a cool experience and you could find videos about the train on RU-vid.

i’ve been to both and the one in california is nothing compared to orlando, it doesn’t have diagon alley or the hogwarts express, I found my experience at orlando was much better and much more immersive :)

Just FYI, the robe has LEGIT pockets hidden in the sides. I didn’t realize mine did until I got home, pretty epic though!

I have the same wand from when I went to the park the year it opened. The wand is based on the birth month of November so the wand has autumn leaves sketched onto it. Mine, however, isn’t interactive. Nonetheless I love it so much.
