I'm a black girl from Havana, Cuba, seen this video makes me proud of being Black, Love to all Black people from all over this world. We are so beautiful
I remember when people where dragging wiz online simply cos drake wasn’t on his video.. then when he went ahead to win the Grammys, they said it’s cos of Beyoncé but how do you explain Wizkid selling out the world’s busiest music 02 London arena 3 times and this time with made in Lagos in less than 12 minutes of ticket released. That’s insane.. he’s the greatest out of Africa and has set the trend for others to strive to achieve. Always put respect on wizkid’s name aka Big wiz
@Janet brown I think it's a general thing for them haters to always have negative talks anytime people break boundaries or barriers. one just have to keep getting better at whatever he/she does.
That fact that everyone was properly dress and the African fashion was displayed beautifully amaze me. The women look normal, all shapes and sizes. Yass 🙌🏾
@Sherbet Lemon there is such a thing as “African fashion” in the same way there is such a thing as Africans, even though specific individuals may be Kenyan, Ethiopian, South African, Nigerian, etc - and evening within those nations may be Kikuyu, Luo, Xhosa, Twi, Yoruba, Igbo, etc. Please let’s quit this divide-and-conquer disaggregation tosh!
@@therealist2866 Quit what divide, we are different culture period. Why don't you tell Scottish and English they are both the same, it's disrespectful to the individual cultures. Although in Nigeria especially in Lagos there is it's own modern culture, it does not speak for the West Africa much less the whole of Africa. Stop assuming we're all the same just cause we're Africans- we're extremely different in the same way Koreans and Indians are or jamaicans and Bajans, or even New York and New Orleans-
k Aminé you don't have to be so negative about that, I was just appreciating the beauty of the dark skin. FYI I'm from Dominican Republic I'm not a "westerner" your assumption is invalid
@@teronfelix5217, They envy and hate us for a lot more than that. Jesus used to be in Black people's image so no one bleached. Since they made him White everyone worships White people and doesn't know who they are.
Dope!!! Forget about Drake... Focus on Wizkid. Dis is his song after all. Ppl can't be satisfied in dis world o. Wen Drake featured him u ppl said his voice was too low in the song, nw he featured Drake and his voice is not low u're looking for Drake up n down in his video. Chris Brown did Autumn Leaves video n Kendrick Lamar wasn't in the video. D world didn't end. Appreciate the artistry n stop looking for petty tinz to hate on. Bless up city
So where do I start from The afrobeat! 🥰 The artists! The voices! The sound! The colors! The aesthetics! The styles! The fashion! The people! The skin! The pride ooo! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Wizkid is good!🙌🏽 I’m a very proud African Lady🥰
Nigerians are always crushing it 🥺. Let’s learn their qualities. All Ghanaians should gather under my comment 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🤞🤞🤞
I don't know, I'm just short of words tbh😭....just look at the different shades of black in this video 😍😍, this has to be the best Nigerian Music Video I've seen in a while🙌💯....P.S SFTOS album is almost here too, yaay💃💃💖💖
Lolade Girl I'm happy that he listens. I must confess i just started taking the time to watch Nigerian music videos the past 5 mths.Other than going 2 a party dancing or my boyfriend playing it in his car, i never bother. Having bn in the US 4 a while u kind of loose passion in music in general. I listen 2 american in my car just 2 kill the mood. The funny thing is that the couple of times i hv traveled bk, i fell in with music again. The whole Nigerian atmosphere just hv a way of serenading ur mood when u r there. See i'm not the 1 2 point out who is blk or wht. As a matter of fact, when i 1st started reading comments abt hw blk artist don't use dark skin girls, i tot 2 myself why does it hv 2 matter what color they use. BUT as i checked out so many other music video, i realized it was an epidemic. I can see doing it in one or 2 videos but almost every video? To me that is an unconscious self hatred. I barely listen 2 news but u can't help but hearing abt black males being shot by whites, this has made become so pro black. So, abt 3&1/2 weeks ago, i learned abt this Nigerian british boxer named Anthony Joshua thru my boyfrnd. I became kind of obsessed beaming with pride. My boyfrnd is bn threatening 2 leave if i don't stop mentioning his name every 1 sec, lol. Most especially i luv hw the guy has pride abt where he came from. Each time i want 2 get a laugh, i go on his instragram cos girls there r always chatting crazy. Today, he had a pic up abt him partying and there was couple of pple who mentioned that they noticed he doesn't date black girls. Low & behold when i researched, this kid has bn associated with many girls except a black girl. Tell me what does that say abt him? Sorry, every pride or likeness that i had 4 him quickly vanished ! Like some1 mentioned on his instagram, blacks are the only race in the world to place other race above their own. It's like saying ur own are not good or worthy enuf. My brothers hv bn made aware of this & listening 2 them, i realized it's not something they meant 2 do on purpose but swore never 2 bring an oyinbo home or anything closely related 2 them.
vena prince your only saying that because this song has a Reggae vibe to it. But he an Afro beat artist he's Nigerian to the core so your comment has no substance
How come I don't see any comments about the fashion on here. It's bloody out of this world amazing. Especially that green and red WizKid is wearing and how they had it on the fricken floor and wall like damn. Talk about how to make a video clip pop. And every single clothing item was just Wow.. who is the designer. I wanna know !!!!
Yes, actual African prints not the so-called "daishiki". Note I'm not dying there's anything wrong with it, but African attire isn't comprised of it...really.
hannah60000 Dashikis are a part of african attire and have been worn for decades before they gained popularity in the states. And the rest of the colorful clothing they're wearing is called Ankara, which is traditional Nigerian cloth. This is coming from a Nigerian by the way
Now this is the video I want to see. Real Wizzy style. This video is so beautiful. I didn't care one bit that Drake wasn't in the video again. Amazing work. I need to know who is the rawtid stylist.
Bashment you mean. Afro beats is derived from Jamaican music ...but it is ok....cause WE ALL AFRICAN !!! There was bound to be some connection even though we were taken from the mother land and dumped around the world including Jamaica which was were the REBELLIOUS slaves were put. History is there for us to read and study&know. Some say we are not African but we bloody are get it!!!
Why would you not want hip hop to focus on white women. lol I'd be upset if they constantly had black women in videos getting hyper-sexualized and called hoes and bitches lol.
Im not african im puerto rican but i love the music from africa and not to mention their sense of fashion. I love their fashion and music so much culture and love. Much Love straight from Puerto Rico!!!💕💕
If you’re from Puerto Rico you must have a lot of African blood in your veins. It’s not a coincidence that you love African Culture, Africa is in you. Take a DNA test ✌🏿❤️🌍
I am sure now Drake is like "Dem I should have known he would be a Grammy Award Winner I would have flown to Naija to feature in the video!" Respect!!!
Thank you Wizkid for video #2! I love it :) Living in the States I don't see Beautiful Black Women at every shade in our media. As a beautiful dark Black woman, you have made me very proud. Thank you for showing African/Black women in a positive light again with beauty in every shade. :)
Africa sets all the Pop trends?? 🙄 STOP the 🧢. The very category Pop is a BLK American construct, created & established by Blk American Art form & expression (hence Michael Jackson King of Pop). Africa is many things but the trend setters of Pop they are not... Much love & respect to my African bredren Dem 🙏🏿 but what we not gone do is tell Lies... 🥱🥱🥱
