Welcome everyone to the cheapest airline operating to and from the UAE; Wizz Air Abu Dhabi!
We’ll be flying their A321neo on a long flight to Sarajevo.
Bosnia & Herzegovina has become a big tourist hot spot for many people in the Gulf countries, including the UAE.
I found a cheap fare for just 250 AED ($65 US) which is a bargain for a 5 hour flight, so I booked it instead of the regular full service carriers I usually fly.

Great stuff as usual, great to see an episode on Wizz Air Abu Dhabi as I don’t know much about them in AUH, all I know about them is what I know of them in the UK and Europe. You can’t say no to the price of the ticket especially these days of air fair prices. Fantastic 😎👍👏

I flew with them this summer multiple times on this exact route (SJJ-AUH and back) and every time the flight was full, but I quite like it, it was cheap and efficient, and the crew was really kind and awesome, actually one of the crew was the same as in your video. Also I figured out you arrived on the August 31, I figured it out by cross-checking the flights on A6-WZA (I flew on it too) and A6-ANM and TC-RBB (I flew on it multiple times) but then I saw you flight time and it was much easier to figure it out that way. Also I've recently flown on Air Arabia Abu Dhabi and the flight was 5 hours and 27 minutes but it was much more comfortable because of the better legroom and seat reclining.

Great video again Alex!! I transited through the new terminal two weeks ago on my way to Athens, night and day difference compared to the old one, although now you really WALK, the new terminal is massive, I did 10k steps on a 6 hour layover lol. Anyways this is exactly what Etihad needed to continue their growth🎉

Thanks for this RU-vid. Flight checks for Wizz Air are rare. LCCs (low cost airlines) need a high load factor for a route to survive. So that passenger load on your flight is a disaster. I mean in Europe Ryanair has an overall load factor of 90 to 95 % throughout the year. For your info ... Wizz Air in Europe ( not Wizz Air AbuDhabi) has a poor reputation and is usually voted the worst LCC in Europe.

This route was at the end of the season and has since then been discontinued at the end of September. I was told it was always full and super busy.. I’m aware of Wizz Air in Europe, yeah, savings do come at a cost! Thanks for writing!

Thanks for the video, Alex. A single-aisle aircraft that can seat 200 plus passengers? We shall definitely see more of those in Africa because the market is still too small for airlines to invest in wide bodies with similar passenger capacity in a 2 or 3 cabin lay out.

Interesting how the Abu Dhabi Amiri Flight Boeing 777-200ER is painted in the Emirates Livery. Emirates is from Dubai, not Abu Dhabi. Strange thing. I was expecting to be painted in the Etihad Livery.

A6-ALN and A6-PFK were both painted to the new emirates livery (A6-ALN is the 777-200ER you showed in the video and A6-PFK is a 777-300ER)

I wonder even why the need for Air Arabia Abu Dhabi when you just have Air Arabia.. But ok.. Put the name of your city out there. Each of those two airlines serve different markets, and none of them really competes with Etihad. I hope to find out more about the entire way of working! Next video I had to choose something short as I’m busy, so I’m working on a flight on American Airlines between Hawaii and LAX 😉

Once in awhile, taking LCC is good for the wallet. 😀 Speaking of which, I hope you will get to experience one of the OG in LCC, Airasia! Is my second choice if I were to fly anywhere, but it is still in my consideration if i want to fly anywhere in SEA.

Thank you for making my wish true! As of what you said, I prefer the wing view over the engine one, as there are more seats for a wing view than an engine. But, on an A380, it can be highly unlikely to get a better wing view on the upper deck.
