Did you say you had a stock shifter before? I've had a short throw forever, so I'm curious as to what the difference feels like going from short to one of these upgraded shifters... 🤔 Definitely want to get one myself now! 💯
Does this put any wear on the trans? I know trans shops like Shep don’t recommend short shifter due to that reason but these new full cage styles I haven’t heard much about. Also couldn’t you cut the top threads off to shorten the shifter?
No extra wear and tear on the transmission to my knowledge. You likely could cut the threads off to shorten the shifter. I’ve grown accustomed to the height in which it sits. With the spacer is a different story, but without is is perfect!
