Thanks Again Keith. Jan, Jan, Jan, Karen Jan Smithers, what an absolutely stunning Woman!!! WHO WOULD STAND HER UP?? Major, underated show!! Thank You, Mary Tyler Moore, God Bless You!!! You live in our hearts!!!
I cannot imagine under any circumstance giving up a chance at Bailey for that space cadet. Bailey was very possibly even more desirable than the Jennifer character.
I always love this show when I was little I used to sit and listen for the song WKRP in Cincinnati I always listen for it especially in Germany you have to make long-distance calls international calling I would have to go through three operators before I finally got the Chillicothe operator
What guy in his right mind would stand Bailey up? Exactly. No guy "in his right mind" would, but Johnny isn't exactly the poster guy for "right mindedness" 🙂And his ol' girlfriend has absolutely nothing on Bailey.
Ya, poor Bailey. I can't picture anyone spacing out a "date" with Bailey. Yet, with all the speed Buffy gives Johnny, when Johnny and Bailey do hook up at the end of part two, that must have been interesting. I always pictured Bailey and Johnny together more during episodes. Well, on a much sadder note, I bid a tremendous Thank You to Howard Hesseman, a world now a bit more sad with you gone. Thanks to all the staff at the Big WKRP!!! Just one thing to add, who was the idiot(s) that decided to cancel this show when it was so on top, had top ratings after season 4, and could have gone on for several more years??? I graduated High School in 1977, and was a heavy party/rocker at the time, and just loved this show, as I still do. They still make me laugh! The pilot episode is absolutely crazy funny in utilizing Howard's awesome ability in making that great transformation, to the last show where Johnny is trying to find out why Carol Bruce(An incredible beauty and multiple star in her earlier years, something worthy of looking into), wants to convert the station into an all news format for twisted financial gain! 4 years and it just wasn't there. Really bad call! Thank you Keith for the awesome post!!
@@lunaracc914 When you say this song, do you mean the song at the beginning of this video hear on RU-vid? That's the replacement song. Or do you mean "Bad Case of Loving You" by Robert Palmer, which is the song that was originally on this episode when it aired on CBS.
@@lunaracc914 I just watched this on ME-TV again. It had the EWF song at the end instead of the silence. So that's good. It still had the replacement music at the beginning though.

In real life, I was a DJ (program announcer) for a couple of years, and NOTHING like this ever happened to me! Of course, it was a small Christian Family radio station. Did I mention it was an AM band station? Your sympathy is appreciated.
