Having started my career in radio, I can tell you what made this show so special for industry people. Everyone who works in radio will tell you that, somewhere along the line, they have worked with a "Less Nessman" or a "Herb Tarlek". I had a super nerdy News Director who used to be the target of DJ's that would set fire to his tearsheets as he read them on-air. I've had salesmen that wore suits so loud it hurt your eyes. And yes, I worked at a station who had a "Jennifer".
i dont need a computer to find me a date,i meet em the old fashioned way,i pick em up in bars.More classic tv. Wish more shows like this were on today,i dont watch any sitcom's anymore.
I've given up on television. Anything I want to watch is available free here on RU-vid or streaming online. WKRP is smart & funny. It's held up very well. 😊 Sacramento, California USA 🇺🇸
If you look in the background you will see an AC/DC poster for those about to rock with the big Cannon. That will tell you the timeline 😁 and I love wkrp in Cincinnati
This is back when they could show and play all the stuff we heard on the radio. Today. There's so much copyright crap. They won't let them play the original shows
Les is so sweet and old-fashioned. When I was younger, I think I could have dated Les. But not long because he'd start talking about how horrible Communists are or some other ridiculous nonsense and never shut up about it. Then... well, it would be over.
