Yeah! Chaplin...remember how Kim Jong-un threw a fit about Rogan and...that film •The Interview•? Right away I thought about Chaplin's parody of Adolf Hitler in •The Great Dictator• film. I thought, wow...Kim didn't understand that he SHOULD be happy about it! Him with his piss-ant country of meth addicted skeletons who fear him...he ought to have been GLAD to see himself parodied in a major Hollywood film. BUT HE WAS TOO CHILDISH bcuz come on look at at President Donald Duck...he made some mistakes, complaining about being ridiculed and insulted at first cuz his ego's so big. But the truth is "Duce Duck"...Obama...Dubya...Clinton...G.H.W. Bush...they all get lambasted! Every politician...OR autocrat gets made fun of! So KIM fucked up and showed how backwards and isolated he & his populace are
I'd watch an entire show about a world where aliens abduct all the smart people. Even if it was just shown through the perspective of that one news team.
I'd like to imagine an alternate Universe where the tall people told eachother that they were actually 2 people instead of 1, and they all lived happily ever after.
In rewatching all these years later, i feel a great disappointment when I see they don't actually say "free bumper sticker" I feel like it was an comedic gold opportunity wasted.
The T.V. Studio sketch is really funny to me because it feels like just two idiots in a garage, and even though we never see Brian it feels like if we did it would be Sam.
Trevors more of an intellectual to look into things; he definitely has a strong understanding of the person hes making a character out of. Outside of an inflated genocide he was a pretty damn strong leader, he united the german people and made some of the most revolutionary advancements humanity has seen since. He did great things. Terrible, but great.
honestly “when god says wash your hands” is the most perfect encapsulation of my experiences with ocd and my religious upbringing that i have ever seen
Reminds me of my first time playing a multiplayer game online. I was playing FEAR 2 and a kid kept shouting for his mom to bring him pizza rolls in the garage.
Yo my dad thought that was what was happening he was like “wait wtf was going on there” and i explained it and then he said my humor is troublesome. should i be sad?
Bible stories with Luther b has always been one of my favorite skits, as someone who grew up reading the Bible i can confirm they're accurate and that monkies go to hell
It took me a bit to understand that last sketch. I didn't realize he was referring to OCD mentality. I've lived with this disorder since I was very young and it's been extremely agonizing. Touch (blank) an X amount of times or you get cancer. Turn the sink off and on several times or look at the floor and blink or your family will die. I'm kind of glad a bit of that was brought to life with this sketch. I hope there are some people like me that saw this or had a good laugh maybe. It's very hard to live with sometimes.
Fylix Aerou I think I had this kind of thing when I was younger, like I had to lick my lips an even amount or blink my eyes, but it kind of disappeared over the years, so maybe it wasn't the real thing.
Bolt892 There are different kinds of OCD. I've known a number of people with OCD who don't, I think, have that particular thought pattern. But they will take a negative thought and repeat it over and over. Or use a whole roll of toilet paper at once. Or whatever.
Fylix Aerou I struggled with this terribly when i was young. i started smoking marijuana as a teenager, and it almost entirely went away. ten years later i still have virtually none of the OCD symptoms that plagued me as a kid. I'm not one of those people that claims pot is the greatest thing in the world, or some kind of cure-all, but i just thought id mention my expierience
Fylix Aerou If you didn't know, Trevor Moore also suffers from OCD. He grew up in a religious household where the disorder could set in a lot harder than it should have otherwise. I think this is why many WKUK sketches/a lot of Trevor's solo stuff touches this subject. :)
I love this guys! Ukraine is your fan 4ever!!))))))))))) that's what I like the most watching stoned or fresh or high or sober, doesn't matter! These guys are great actors, very talented very specific or unique, whatever. Respect!)))
because everyones imagination runs wildly out of control and no one tells them so they collect disability instead of understanding the difference between imagination and observable reality?
The youtube official versions of the seasons are censored so im gonna keep using these uploads. Probably need to download them before they're banned. Thank you dude, your an absolute unit and I've binged these reuploads hundreds of times
God that first one is hilarious because during WWII, Hitler was a HUGE Clark Gable fan. Gone With The Wind, It Happened One Night, etc. When he volunteered for service in the US Air Force, Hitler put a $5,000.00 bounty on him to bring him to Berlin to star in movies because Hitler was like OBSESSED with him. As the war went on, Hitler changed the bounty to dead or alive because he thought that if he couldn’t have him, nobody could. That shit was WILD
Bible Stories with Luther B is a segment I literally quote almost every single day. Strike that, every segment I quote almost every day from these episodes.
Ok at 10:48 Sam looks a lot like my biological father, he passed away when I was 5 and I'm nearly 30 so Sam isn't my dad but he legit looks like a doofier version of my dad and it is really bizarre, especially considering the skit deals with father's day lol Edit: showed to mother and confirms he looks a lot like him lol
They said smart people not evil people. Creating effective propaganda requires some devious and intelligent thought. Ok, maybe Alex Jones would still be around and Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly, and well most of the hosts anyway.
9:53 The button that stops •Mall Bitches•...is that on an old "source selector"? I've got several. They obviously aren't too common nowadays but then again I know nothing about television...oh wow yeah when he falls off his chair you can see the RCA ports...geez! If that is a source selector it has a helluva lot of imputs
To be fair to the news sketch, switching is a tough job, you gotta be pre prepared haha watching that brought back memories of broadcasting school hahaha
No one seems to get the point of that last sketch. It’s not about Corona, it’s about living with OCD. I suspect Trevor may have some experience with that, because all of those examples were way too specific for him not to. “God says knock three times or your grandpa will get cancer”, “God says wash your hands or your dog will run away”, this is ALL prime OCD shit. I used to have that to the extreme when I was a kid and it took intensive therapy and me willing it away for it to ever stop. And it STILL crops up sometimes. When I saw that skit for the first time I was baffled at how accurate it was. Can anyone else here relate?
