Nothing but respect for klitschko. He lost to fury when he was out of his prime but came back for one last big bang and gave us one of the best boxing matches ever against AJ
@@arautus Who did they beat? Vitali was better but struggled against a 1 armed birggs and chisora gave him a great fight. Wlad was all but done then started fighting again and there was no one around collected the belts and hid in Germany
I wonder why people forget Vlad so quickly. I think it's a bit like me at parties. People talk to me but I'm instantly forgettable. A bit like Vlad's fights and his career.
If anyone can beat formans age record it's wlad, he's always looked after his body, he's big with massive power and he's not battle worn he managed to come out most of his fights with out damage.
@@tiger1259 wlads never had an iron chin even in his 20s but he still became one of the most dominant champions ever, and his chin can't be that bad be took kill shots from AJ and still finished on his feet
Maybe he doesn't get the credit for his career because he did nothing of any originality in the sport of boxing. He was good on paper, but his fights were like watching paint dry.
@@Koala-jj7go yes you were obviously privy to their internal talks and discussions so of course you would know lol. Stop spreading makebelief nonsense on personal biases LOL
I use to like this man. But you can tell he’s got a horrible bitter jealous tone in his voice whenever fury gets mentioned. He gives him no respect. And for me that isn’t a real man or a real champion.
@@Dagnaldinho The title suggests that's what he said, but anyway he wouldn't stand a chance against a top 5 or even top 10 fighter these days, things change and father time waits for no man.
Honestly, hes in great shape for his age, i think he could easily go and get involved in things like mistfits, let Jake Paul fight him after Mike Tyson.
@@Dagnaldinho Any pro boxer still in shape could fight on that platform. They're all pretty terrible fighters when it comes down to it, they're just really good at marketing themselves to look like they can fight, until they come up against a true pro. Jake Pauls only loss was to Tommy, who's just a journeyman fighter riding his brothers coat tails, just like Huey does. Vladimir would get destroyed by Tyson, Joshua, Whyte, Parker, Joyce and probably even Chisora at this stage .
I think Klitch is is fantastic shape for 50. And he has a really good sense of humor because he thought he could psychoanalyze Fury. It was patronizing, demeaning, and spectacularly backfired on him.
@@adamwilson232 lolwat? Vitali has 41 KO's out of 45 wins. That's Earnie Shavers level KO percentage. Wlad has 53 KO's out of 64 wins. That's still really damn high. Both men were known for their exceptional punching power, especially Vitali.
How when usyk's heads on a swivel and he changes the distance and height with head movements and footwork? He's not fighting dillian whyte or wilder again..
@@waynebellshaw8235 I’ve got Usyk by late stoppage after Fury struggles with the pace in the later rounds, most likely goes down then a referee stoppage.
Vlad never let himself go. Might be fun. Although, and I was in an athletic profession, the difference in endurance just becomes vast after about 35-40. Experience can make up for the speed you lose, to an extant, but it’s a losing battle after a point
Usyk won a total of 3 rounds in the fight. People are getting carried away with the 9th round, although it was huge for Usyk, it was only 1 round. 6 rounds to Fury, 3 to Usyk and 3 drawn rounds. Fury 116 Usyk 114. Great fight, but Fury really showed his class in there keeping Usyk at bay and punishing him throughout the fight with counters. The way Fury recovered from the 9th round, which was partly caused by the broken nose at the end of the 8th, which left him vulnerable to that big shot in the crazy 9th round, showed what a true warrior Fury is. Without doubt Fury won that fight, and it's definitely true what Tyson said, Usyk was gifted the decision due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, sad but true
Wlad pays rent to Fury still for the crumbling of his mind. He has managed to recover through some chips being implanted into his head by Musk, though it has affected how interesting he is. It has made him just a bit more interesting and so they let him commentate now and then.
People don’t remember or they don’t know that back when KLITSCHKO was the champ heavy weight boxing was so boring; he was a world class boxer just so so boring... he hid behind his height. Tyson Fury did the boxing world a favor by ending the KLITSCHKO reign... unfortunately Tyson had issues afterwards but he came back and then ended the Deontay Wilder reign. Deontay a horrible boxer had a grip on the division because of his insane one punch power only to be defeated by Tyson Fury. Tyson Fury is the greatest boxer in this era.
Wlad was never boring until he got knocked out. Thats when him and Manny Steward went for a safety first approach to protect his chin, turned out quite well for him at the expense of the fans enjoyment
Klitch was boring ever since he was born. He jabbed and grabbed his way out into the world and has never looked back since. I use his fight videos to go to sleep. A lot of his KOs were actually his opponents falling asleep in the ring.
@@MartinDunwell Great point. You'd always find his opponents sleeping on the job against Costco. Being tortured by boredom is a slow and tedious way to meet one's maker.
He was boring, even prior to Manny Stewart he lacked flavor and his style was bland.. Stewart Improved him a lot but he was less bland and still boring.
Physically perhaps, he can box in the top 5, but mentally probably not. He's been out so long and has a lot going on. A training camp would require full focus. He's too far out of boxing and into politics and business for that. He can be a good sparring partner, coach etc but coming back is out of the question.
AJ is one of the best bodybuilders the sport of boxing has ever produced. I adore watching that meltdown speech. Some powerful, philosophical points were made in that speech which likely went over the heads of the masses.
