Got my unit this past sunday its got some flex on cut outs but my main issue is my m2 makes this weird pop/clack sound on the rear of the button. Any tip to remedy this myself? WL mouse support hasn't been helpful in terms of a replacement so seems like I'm on my own lol

I'm pretty sure you can't, but to be honest, why would you? The tech in this mouse is top tier, you won't get any benefit from swapping the hardware anyways.

there's no reason to do that. You can order beastx with omron opticals or ttc mechanicals. viper v2 pro uses razer's optical switches. Beastx has the more recent sensor and it can do 8k polling whereas the viper v2 pro can "only" do 4k with the seperately-purchased dongle not that it makes much of a real difference besides cooking your battery life... Anyway, you can def swap the main switches in the beastx to whatever you want but you just need to use a soldering iron and desoldering tools on 3 big electrodes on each switch and solder the new switches in their place. It's really not that hard. But it isn't hot-swap... The Omron opticals are probably what you want anyway, though, so there's no reason to swap.

@@unicornohblu Yes, to be honest, if you want to play for fun, there's no need for lighter mice, I personally think the benefit of lighter ones comes only if you want to aim the best as you possibly can or just prefer that weight. For me lighter mouses are more enjoyable to use in fps games, I can react quicker, it's just physics.
