with a name like beast x i was actually so sure that it was another scam but holy shit they really did deliver lmao, what worries me is click latency and sensor performance.
Hello, first of all, congratulations on your videos, since I discovered your channel, it was a great light on my path, with the topic of gaming audio, I was tired of spending a lot of money on gaming headsets, the last ones were Astro A50. I discovered your channel and bought the Sennheiser HD560s, and it's just what I always wanted in gamer audio. Now I have a question, is it worth buying a dac amplifier with the HD560s? My motherboard is an Asus rog strix z790 e gaming socket 1700. In case it's worth it, which one do you recommend between the Ifi Zen Dac v2, the DX3 Pro+ and the SMSL C200? thank you so much. (The pulsar superglide polarity is on its way!! hehe)
Glad you liked it. I’ve been using the purple one for about 2 weeks and it is definitely my favorite mouse ever. There’s a user making aftermarket software/firmware updates which will support better battery life at all polling rates/improved performance in general plus unlocking 8k polling rate which I won’t use but it’s cool seeing people enjoying it to the point they’re trying to improve the product.
The beast x definitely is on my future radar I love that red. Love that it's close to the finalmouse shape too. Haven't tried many mice, but the finalmouse felt natural to me. Do you think you'll try the meowmouse ragnarok pcb for starlights? Heard craftedmice has something cooking for the air 58 and Capetown too
Went with the purple, this thing is actually great. Really surprised considering the sketchy introduction awhile back. Cube design for the receiver is pretty cool, having a little screen like that on there instead of the mouse is awesome.
I just got my copy. Surprised by the build quality. Never had a magnesium mouse, and it's freaking solid for something thay feels like nothing. Put the glass skates on, and I feel like I'm playing air hockey. The dongle is ridiculous in a good way. My only minor complaint is the side buttons should be a tad bigger.
With the shapes, it doesn't seem that many companies are looking out for wide hand gang xD. Vaxee is taking care of that for the most part. For me personally, the gpx shape is as thin as I can go until i get cramps/inconsistencies.
This is exactly why I don't want it. The dongle is actually supposed to lay on the back, because that is where the antenna is facing. And to make it worse, it has to be sitting at the top of the mousepad in order to have reliable polling. 😢
How do you feel about this mouse vs Lamzu Atlantis Mini? Also, heard they are dropping a mini version of the Beast X in January and wondering if I should wait for that instead.
ive been looking at this since all the reluctant first reviews came out saying they didnt know if it was real but what i want to say is finally a ultra lightweight mouse in a nice purple colorway since its my favorite color im excited since theres really not a lot of options otherwise
Hey Fresh reviews, I watched bot of your reviews on the Maya and Beast X, and probably every review out there on both of the mice, and from what research i have done and the availability where i live i have concluded that i will buy one of the 2 mice. But i am having a VERY hard time figuring out wich of them to get, and was hoping you could give me some advice to sway me in the correct direction. I intend on using 4k polling so if i decide on the maya i will get the dongle, and where i live the prices with the dongle are almost identical. My hand is 19x10 and use a claw grip, and i play Valorant, Apex and frequently use Aimlabs. I would love to hear your thoughts on this :)
thats a SOLID mouse. I do want a new mouse, but i need these guys to make something bigger than a medium size. my blue collar hands need something LARGE!! lol, one day...
Bam, bam, thank you ma’am! Never headers that before but I like it 😅 Pretty cool it’s a hybrid size wise of the small and medium Starlight’s! Nice review Fresh 🫡
You should definitely do a review on the 7hz x Crinacle Zero:2 at $25 and possibly along with the Moondrop Chu 2 at $20 in a comparison video, I'm really interested to see where you'd rank them, I've heard people say the chu 2 is great for gaming at its price point.
Hello! Loved the video! I am really confused on what mouse to buy now in 2023, THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD OPTIONS :') ! I have only ever used the Razer DeathAdder Essential and now the Razer DeathAdder V2, so I am definitely not into this mouse stuff, but I am thinking on upgrading to a wireless mouse now! And I am thinking paying max 150$ for it, so this one really caught my atention. I use palm grip most of the time and maybe a soft claw grip when I am playing more seriously, so yeah I have never used a small mouse or light mouse... Also its format beeing more flat makes me think it could be unconfortable for me, but at the same time, from what everyone is saying, this mouse is incredible for the price so I am really on the edge. Do you think this mouse is overhyped or it deserves all of it? I am really tired of looking for "the best mouse" xD. What do you think?
How is the grip width compared to a starlight medium? I find the SL-M to be quite comfortable, but the viper mini with a similar shape gave my hand cramps because it flares out less in the front so I end up having to pinch the mouse harder
its not rebind keys or etc. its Profile Mouse.. profile 1 profile 2 this mouse have profile system, but u just can do it manually on software. you cant do it with "tumbs" keys. unlike razer, glorious which i have before. sorry my english.
I love my stormbreaker but it has been plagued with qc issues since i took it out of the box , right mouse click had a weird gap between the top of the switch and the little plunger thing to activate the switch on right click, the right side of the shell was aslo creaky so i had to put the grips on to stop it, after about a month and a half now i took my feet off to fix the scratchy weird gap on right click it got so bad i couldnt stand the feeling. I ended up putting electrical tape on the top of both mouse 1 and 2 switch and bending the right click towards the switch now the travel and scratchyness is gone on the right click but is present on the left click out of the box left click was crisp and amazing but now has the same issue, the top of the shell behind mouse 1/2 is creaky now and it was solid out of the box, i guess i have to order new feet and try to rearrange the shell pieces and fix mouse 1 and the shell creak, i love this mouse so much but holy for 368$ Canadian its a headache. (blue #1313 ordered sept 21 2023 received sept 29 2023)
its been hell but i love this thing and refuse to send it back, i can fix it but for future purchases im going to try to avoid the first few batches @@FreshReviewsYT
@@doremeow2348 I had to repair mine I got the clicks feeling perfect it’s really not that hard at the eend of the day just bend down the clicks a bit and it fixes the problem
Very surprised on this release as well 👍 hopefully they continue making products. For me the mouse design itself and the dongle look pretty tacky so I won't buy but good to hear the value is solid
QQ - Can you notice a difference in weight in this mouse vs the Lamzu Thorn during gameplay? Have been thinking about getting the Finalmouse ULX large because of the 40g weight but I think I would prefer the shape of the thorn however weight is a priority for me if it’s something that is noticeable during gameplay. Appreciate your insights! Thanks.
I just got a really good deal on Superlight 2 - is there any difference between white coating and black one regarding grip and durability? Or maybe I should go find something else?
@@FreshReviewsYT i know, but i want light like this mouse but with stable 1khz because battery life important for me more (gaming and working at the same pc) , and i heard this mouse had software/hardware issues with this polling rate.
I'm on the fence about the Beast X and it mostly has to do with that really weird dongle & Chinese software. Also I don't like medium or smaller sized mice. I'm a palm gripper. My favorite shape / size are my GPX Superlight's which are all modded with hot swappable, PCBs etc. I also have the Pwnage Nacho but a QC issue on my copy the forward side button is sticking out by ~1.5mm and I'm thinking about an RMA repair. 😢
.. and that Pwnage Nacho sure the hell _ain't purple,_ lilac sure but purple F no! And yes I'm looking at the Beast X purple because I love purple, my whole rigs theme has red, purple, chrome and black.
@@FreshReviewsYT .. I'm thinking about taking it apart myself but then I don't want them to complain if there actually is something wrong that I opened it up. It's an okay mouse. It's on the small side. I like it okay. Aiming good, but I can't snap it like my GPX, and it's nothing to beat my GPX. I play Hardcore so it's all quick and snappy. I can't get a good grip that I'm satisfied with on smaller mice like the Pwnage.
I see 'Customized Mouse Contact' and their support email address under main purchase page, not sure exactly how the process works but I saw custom graphic designs and colors on it on yt. Bear in mind they are chinese and clearly using translate so communication may not be straight to the point @@starx68
Im worried cuz new chinese company, makes a dongle big enough to fit some spy tech, like cam etc. Sells for 140$ with free shipping, someone help me, i have trust issues w/ this one
