Because there's a huge misunderstanding somewhere. They say that there is a V1 and a V2 of this car but in reality there are more. The 3S escs can catch fire and that is why they changed it for European buyers as a safety addition.
can you please recommend a battery that will make car go fasterrand last longer than the stock battery? i just ordered today stock battery only last 8 minutes?
That’s the one I’ve got. mines handled 3s so far but your right they say it can’t. It breaks a lot more parts on 3s 😂 it’s sooooo fast. I’m going to run mine on 2s from now on just in case it’s fast enough on that for me.
my 124017 on 3s overloaded the esc and now the throttle is dead just steers i don't recommend 3s in the 124017 with the stock esc it wasn't rated for 3s
Hello @noobrccars i was wondering what me and my son will have more fun with Wl toys 124017 version 2 or a MJX hyper go. We mainly run on dirt dracks that are dusty and bumpy. We live in kenya on a dusty murram track farm so no tarmac.. what would you recommend for around £100
Hi there I’ve got a 30c a 60c and a 100c all work fine the higher number ones make it a bit quicker. But it will still be rapid on the 30c that’s the one I was using in the video. Hope that helps.
Does your 3S 100c lipo works? When i tried mine, the ESC LED flashes red with no throttle response, only steering. Could it be the battery is weak as I haven't charged it yet? @@noobrccars4392
Hi, thanks for the demo! I'm torn between this model and the 104002... I usually like the 1/10 scale better, but this seems to be the better package... What do you think? If you had to pick one of the two, 124017 v2 or 104002, which one would it be?
Mines been fine on 3s it is crazy on it though I run mine on 2s as I break less. As for a link I’m not near a computer but will add one tomorrow. I think there’s a link in one of my wltoys videos and it fits them all. It’s a 2200 sunpowdow one from Amazon if that helps.
