Converted my Kid's RC truck to brushless.
3650-2080kv
29T Pinion
3S 1300
Stock main gear spur
60 amp ESC
20g servo
Flysky radios
Runs great with super cool motor. Could even go higher KV but the larger pinion makes it fast enough and more torque.
Run is on old 3S lipo. The stock ESC braking power is a bit too high.

Nice man , do you have any other mods? Suspension, diffs, weight or anything? Seems to not flip as much as mine until I lowered it. I want to put a larger battery in the rear like you but I'm lowered so it doesn't fit there

Thanks man. No other mods and this is actually my kids RC buggy that I just converted to brushless. I did try bigger wheels but stock is best.

I bought all parts on Amazon Look up 3650 size brushless motor. Go 3300kv or higher. Any chance you have links to what you used for your build? The 12423 is so much nicer to work with as far as 4 pins to take the body off as compared to the 12428.
