This video is about re-decorating a stock WLtoys 12428 in to a Mad Max like vehicle, The rear wheels are from a 10428 buggy but for the rest it's all stock standard. I've only added a few bits and pieces to create "the look"
So far its, the coolest 12428 I have seen yet I think. Verry good job. I have order 2 like this. They will be our first to my son and I. Cant wait to mod them. Keep on the good work! 👏👊🤘👍
I used for the frame charcoal base then sprayed mist a primer/oxide red over it and "misted" a silver grey over that to give it that steel look. For the bodywork I "misted" silver over charcoal and weathered these panels with a technique using steel wool and hydroperoxide salt and vinegar. There are a few RU-vid clips that go in detail how to do this.You can mist matt black at any time if you feel it starts to look too bright. I hope this is any help to you
