yeah i normally don't watch tiktok next to my family for that reason, but one day my mom was right next to me and i had my volume up and it just screamed "gay news" at me that even my grandpa in the next room heard it 😭

Most of the wlw tiktok compilations are either thirsttraps only/tiktoks that have yet to be understood/tiktoks that feel like the editor simply looked up „wlw“ and put every tiktok result they found into a video in chronological order or they are simply not my personal humor. The ones you post not only crack me up but they‘re generally creative and fun :D (I know that‘s super subjective tho)
I feel like I never really had a gay awakening and just grew up in a house that was very homophobic and never let me know that being gay was a thing and was hiding it from me so right as I learned girls could like girls in more than a friend type way I knew that was me and what I was feeling for the girls that I "wanted to be close friends with".(I didn't really learn what being gay was until I was a teen and it's because of my phone ✋🙄)

Just to be clear "wlw" does not mean lesbian. It means any female or Female-oriented person (not including Femboys) who has the capability of loving another woman romantically or sexually. We have a flag for this, it's the Sapphic flag and is an umbrella flag to cover every wlw. These include Lesbians, Bi women, Pan women, Omnisexual women, Omnilesbians (me but demiromantic and Ace as well, look at pfp) and also Transgender women who are any of those previous labels. As I have seen in a lot of tiktoks it's a common issue, me by myself used to described me as bisexual even when I'm not really into boys just because I didn't feel comfortable with the L word
When I first started realizing I was lesbian I was only 11. (2 months before 12) and I kept it a secret for ALMOST 2 YEARS because I was afraid of my family was going to say I was too young to know. (when I did come out they where supportive) so if a child ever tells u something like they like the same gender or anything.. please nevvver tell them they are too young to know..
My mom makes these label me pins and today my dad shuffled them and said “Whichever one I pull is Coraline!” He pulled one that said gay. I mean he wasn’t wrong but he wasn’t quite right either. Edit: 2:47 ok add Sasha from Amphibia and yeah pretty good.
