Cut some slack. In my city I seen guys lifting the large city provided cans because the automated truck apparently broke or something. I sent them a verbal thank you & expressed gratitude for what they do!
Great job just hard working men buy them a ice tea or something they deserve alot of credit your service is deeply appreciated thanks don't work to hard love and appreciate you guys thanks you guys rock thanks way to go ! Joe
I can relate somewhat, I worked for 3 years as a fuel attendant, the guy outside refueling cars in all weather, I got move around and chat with alotta great nice people and actually helping people. I liked the job but hated the company. Lolololol
I live in Lancaster Pennsylvania it took me 3 weeks and I don't know how many phone calls to get our trash sticks picked up this is what happens when you get rid of all the independent and go to the big operators there's no one to talk to
We got lucky in my part of New Jersey: three garbage providers and two cable companies. Very good service all around. Downside: only one state government with extremely high income and property taxes,
I use to do this as a laborer like 5 years ago. It’s even more annoying when you load over your limit, I was told no more than a combination of 10(stick bundles or leaf bags. The customer calls up complaining that they weren’t serviced even though we did more than what was allowed, puts out another 20+ bags. Then get called have to more than 3/4 down the route in the scatter section, having to go all the way back. I remember one Thursday route was so bad, we had to dump then drive back. So we back continuing the route & one of the neighbors was chasing us down in a red pick up truck. Even on Friday an any type of route I did, I’m in Wendy’s ordering food on lunch, multiple people complaining at me for other routes not being done. I told them I’m only worried about my route, so leave me alone on my lunch while ordering food. I don’t know what’s going with those routes, so call WM customer service. This is in Port Charlotte Fl so the seniors rule the land like they are kings & queens. Btw forgot to mention when I told the people off in Wendy’s, somebody got their feelings hurt complaining about me. I had to talk with one of the route managers because I told it how it was.
We’ve always been able to used regular black garbage bags for yard waste. Can imagine ever having to spend the money on paper bags. It’s like $3 for 5 bags 🤯
Alot of places require permits to burn anything in your yard, which are either hard to acquire or just as expensive as having someone take it away for you
Buy them a ice tea or something they deserve alot of credit your service is deeply appreciated thanks don't work to hard appreciate you guys thanks job well done you should be proud ! Joe
Where I live "green" pertaining in lawn stuff. Not picked up by local refuse company. We had huge leaf droppings had to contact company to do leaf cleanup. Looked great but mother nature was 💕 to do her thing...🌬🌬🌬🍁🍂🍁 Do u have separate days for regular pickups?
So much fuel and energy wasted for leaves ? 🤕 What is wrong with this world . dig a 6foot hole and it will turn in to mulch in 3months .excellent manure .
My waste removal is horrible, the crews have bad attitudes, complain about having to get out of the truck and work, they're just useless!! Love to see them on a route, and just go up to them, and tell them they're all fired!!!! It's Republic waste service...
No. It’s best to keep yard waste separated so that the right stuff goes to the right place. Plus yard waste collection provides more jobs for the workers.
I would never spend that much time bagging all those, I either mulch what I can and leave the rest or have a company do it for $500 it's not worth A days time.
Make jute bags of very larger sizes and sell this leaves for making manure or for growing mashroom. Municipality or local people can do this bussines. Jay shree ram.
I guess it's better than a brigade of gardners showing up at 0700 armed with Mexican bagpipes and blowing their leaves into the neighbors' yards... ...whereupon, the neighbors' gardeners show up the next day and blow them back.
I would hate doing this job like this a lot of people don't have respect too many bag like this is not nice 3 or 4 bag ok why does people that live in the house can rent dumpster
You can always tip if feeling guilty for putting out a lot. The homeowner or tenant does not need to rent a dumpster if the mumipicality has a throw much as you want to the curb for pickup type of system. It's usually paid for in property taxes
Obviously it is Waste Management. Do you know that since March 2022 they do not pick up lawn bags in Atlanta? They pick them up if you put them inside of your regular trash container. Good luck figuring how many bags you can fit in there.
When my 45 gallon plastic bags are used up I'm thinking of switching to paper bags like what's in this video I don't need 45 gallon capacity I think 3 or 4 bags that are paper will be ok.
