Already knew I was buying one but this session clearly explained a lot of things I wanted to do, so now even more excited to drop on one, excellent demo Alex!

Possibly the greatest demo I've seen 🤌🤌 Didn't even appear to have the Voltera in the mix so can't imagine the possibilities 🥺🥺

@ 12:12 in the video; excellent! poly-rhythm line used as the back-bone for classic "Golden Era GOA" & early Industrial-Body Music.

Is the Metron good for synth lines? Can I use it with my oscillators to compose and play melodies? Does it accept midi and or cv to write them?;-0

If you add a Voltera expander to it you can sequence melodies. www.perfectcircuit.com/wmd-voltera.html

Doooope. Fresh to death, no doubt. 256 step sequencer in the rack! Is that 256 steps per channel, with a total of 16 channels? This sounds like a top shelf sequencer to compete with the likes of ER-101 and Hermod, but seemingly for triggers only, no controllable voltage/pitch/CV per step?

Yes, triggers and gates only. And that’s a strength.

Ryan Dean yep, 256 steps max pattern length for each channel. It’s triggers and Gates only yes, and as mentioned we feel like that’s a strength. One HUGE thing I failed to mention was that METRON has a 17th track called SBus (select bus). It’s a way to send program changes and select presets on other sequencers on the same bus board. In the performance section, I had a different preset recalled on Voltage Block for each new session I loaded. That makes it a power couple with any compatible sequencer. Off the top of my head, select bus is a feature on Make Noise Rene, Tempi, WMD Sequential Switch Matrix, and Malekko Voltage Block. I am sure there are a few more and tons coming from many manufacturers 😉 Check out WMD-METRON.con for an interactive experience listing all features as well as some tutorials for features! Thanks for commenting! - Alex
