Both prove to me that the officiating was intentional, the hard injury-threatening fouls were intentional. The hate and racism shown towards Clark was obvious to all. -- Including ownership and management. YET -- nothing was done. Doubtful that anything will be done. The WNBA is corrupt to its core. The unknown is how much of this does the NBA know, and whether it will approve and endorse it??? Is the NBA equally corrupt, but we don't know??

I'm from the Philipines, and i started watching wnba when the Caitlin Fever begun, now that they were eliminated from the race. i only watch replayed games of Indiana Fever. no interest anymore with other wnba ball clubs. I hope they will play together as a group in Europe and earn millions together, Clark, Boston, Mitchell and maybe Hull.
I was glad to start watching WNBA games once I saw how much energy CC brought to the league. But that bright star also exposed the petty divas. Such jealousy and whining! Angel Reese: ‘OMG! It’s supposed to be all about meeee! Just look at these eyelashes! I’m a beautiful rookie! Waaaah!’ And the terrible muggings without calls, racism, and high schoolish antics. I came out of this with my admiration for Caitlyn Clark greatly expanded, and well beyond her basketball skills. I don't understand her (admirable) stubbornness regarding this league. I don't think I want to watch her get treated like this for another year. I'm out for good. And a prediction, a sad one: She won't make it through next year uninjured. Consider the attendance of 2023 1800 per game. For 2024 it was 17,000 per game.. Is the season of the WNBA over? We will see as the playoffs continue without CC.

The WNBA should have expected a crash when the league Commissioner took no action at against Carrington and the other thugs in the league with their flagrant fouls against Clark and other players, along with the refs who were not worth 5 cents and did not call a flagrant foul on Carrington when she stabbed Clark in the eye with her fingernails! I would not attend nor have I attended a WNBA game when Clark was not playing.
As a long time ref, Carrington deserved an immediate flagrant 2 (on the court) and one game suspension by the league. That would have sent an immediate message to everyone!

I never watched NCAAW games, nor any WNBA. The last couple years, I have started watching, and this year watched as many Fever games as I could. The officiating was atrocious, and the "W" should be ashamed that they allowed it to continue. I'm done until next season...maybe.

Even last night of their elimination, the game was amazing between fever and sun but the officiating was terrible as if there was someone orchestrated... This is how they repay, CC brought to many importance to watch wnba, and now they pulled the plug.

I watched the WNBA for the 1st time ever cause of Caitlyn Clark. Indeed, I've watched half a game or so every other year (boring) . It was an exciting game the first CC-Fever game I saw.
CC is the ONLY player to watch in the WNBA. Nike, do you honestly think thousands if not millions of young female basketball players are going to purchase a Wilson signature shoe? It’s not going to happen. So much for DEI. I knew that the Fever wasn’t going to advance in the playoffs. The ridiculous 2-1 format coupled with the incompetent, biased officiating and the open drama caused by the Smith-Carrington major conflict of interest relationship didn’t bode well for Fever success. After the Fever loss I deleted everything associated with the WNBA from my DVR schedule. I was excited about WNBA when Catlin came in, I love high school girls basketball. What I was met with was violence, racism, officiating worse than 5th grade ball, and an organization which purposely supports players being attacked. I'll probably watch Catlin next year but nothing else. If , or when, she is injured too bad to play the WNBA will die. There will not be an opportunity to restart women's ball for a generation. All of them said they broke down to watch her in the playoffs and today at lunch and they got all over me asking you watch that crap where someone can knock another player down intentionally right in front of a ref and there's no foul call?
