Gambians were killing and torturing each other to please Jammeh. This will still happen in the Gambia today if the person in power wants. Collectively as Gambians, we are all culpable in what happened to Kambai and others that suffered these treatments meted on them during that era. We are still not done with these things. Remember, most of the same people who did this to Kambai and others are still in similar roles in the Gambia. Some are even promoted. Please stop blaming it on Jammeh. He made use of what was already there in the Gambian value systems.
It's pure despicableness for a soldier to make his colleague suffer, it justifies that they were not well trained, it's shameful for the Gambian soldiers
