Wonho’s personality does not match his body, people do not expect such a bright personality from him. Also he worked really hard on his English before his debut, people claimed to see him go to libraries to study and to get English books. Wonho used to be so shy when speaking in english, but now he takes every chance to practice and communicates comfortably with his fans, he's a cutie. I was with monsta x since 2018, and I remember Wonho left in 2019 on Halloween. I cried so hard when losing you was released because I was already upset with Woojin leaving about a week prior, and now legit my bias left Monsta x

Wonho is an amazing singer, dancer, songwriter, and producer with a rags to riches story, all earned from his hard work and dedication to both his career and fans. As a Monbebe and Wenee, it's been such a cool adventure to watch him start out as a reality show contestant and debut with MONSTA X, and journey with him to where he is at present. He was a lot smaller back then, but over the years he pursued his love of fitness, particularly bodybuilding and nutritional fitness, and continues to achieve new gains. To answer your question: YES! Wonho was bigger in "Lose"; the biggest he has ever been to date! He likes to show off his body because he is proud, but he also knows fans will appreciate it. Taking off his shirt or dancing with an open shirt during a concert was to be expected of Wonho during his MONSTA X days. What makes him even more impressive is that he has managed to retain his flexibility as a dancer despite having such big muscles which is a very hard thing to do, speaking from the perspective of a fitness professional & fellow dancer. Also, the man can do belly undulations that would make a bellydancer jealous! (That's me. I'm jealous) Yes, he is a big man, but he is a soft, sweetheart inside, and there is so much more to him than meets the eye. What makes his music videos fascinating (especially to both Monbebe and Wenee fan groups) is that his videos tell more than a story. They are loaded with references and hidden meanings. Some references allude to MONSTA X and others allude to other things. While he only has four solo music videos right now (his solo career began in 2020), he has two mini-albums out and another on the way. Again though, he has seven years of prior work and experience under his belt with MONSTA X. I'm telling you, girl, STOP SLEEPING ON MONSTA X!!! You're missing out on some awesome entertainment content. Wonho began with MONSTA X and held a big place in the group as vocalist, songwriter, and producer for a number of their songs on so many albums in addition to being the biggest connection between MONSTA X and Monbebe. Wonho was a back up dancer before while he was a trainee with Shownu. Also the main dancer along side Shownu, Hyungwon and Jooheon when he was a Monsta X member. He works really hard for that body and he loves to give Wenee everything and all his energy in his music. Thank you Caitlin your reaction is exactly how we react everytime. Loosing you - this was for the fan, the monbebe that had been fighting for him. They posted post it on the building of starship, they crowd raised over $10,000 to get an add on Times Square showing their love and support for him, and pushed over and over for him to be treated fairly esp after the company failed to protect him. It took time it he was vindicated and this was his message that he saw and felt the support but couldn’t reach out but was more worried that the fans would be sad, hurt or broken because of his situation. He would die for his fans and would rather disappear than see fans distressed. I think these heartfelt sentiments is why even folks with no known history or knowledge can get very emotional quickly reacting to this song. He is literally softest bunny boy and the first time a fan base literally rose up for their idol was for this man. Hoping the start of more fanbases being more proactive holding companies to task about protecting, supporting artists and dealing with accusations and rumours. Sadly the issues we have seen other idols subject to since shows that there is a long long way to go to see this kind of reform. Open mind - lol this is more his natural attack mode lol 😂 should also mention while he was in Monsta X the company wanted him to stay on the slimmer end of buff, but now he’s solo he’s buffing a lot more and you will be subject to that - A LOT. His instagram is almost NSFW and he knows it (watch recent vid of wonho reads thirst tweets) 🤣 This was his solo debut, loosing you was a pre-release for the fans (who he named wenee) Lose - he benefitted from dancing in MX and as a trainee and so has not lost that skill or ability which many who bulk up do in losing their fluidity and flexibility. He has his own channel where he tried yoga and flying yoga ad its entertaining if you watch. Ain’t about you - same hotel location that MX filmed Play It Cool MV. Why any girl given the choice would be NOT in bed at 4am with Wonho is a real mystery! Lol Newest MV Blue is out now and i think you will enjoy. Deff stages for the comeback as it was extended and we got three songs performed.
Wow, I knew Monbebe was fighting hard when Wonho left, but never knew the details you described above (and the fact that it was the first time fans fought so hard to bring their idol back). I'm new to k-pop and from the groups, I've only really gotten into Monsta X (and 2NE1 as well, but we also know how that ended...). I think I'm scared to stan any other groups, because I can't imagine losing a member over some made-up scandal that's been blown out of proportion. That industry is just so cut-throat. I guess we are really lucky to have Wonho back as a solo artist because he could have easily just disappeared off the face of the earth.
@@Maria-je6er I was astounded by the monbebe fanbase myself. They are generally considered mild and quietly supportive with few instances of toxic factions. When this happened the Korean MBB started posting post it’s all over the starship building, with notes for him and the group and as it grew international posted the hashtags with written post it’s on Twitter. The constant was the rather than shout about what we knew was wrong was simply to keep sharing his name, image and how much monbebe loved him and MX. They put up the Times Square ad and even got some international news coverage on the issue which was the goal. Korean mbb had said that this supportive and compassionate way would keep him in favourable light in sk while he fought the accusations. Sadly dispatch and the known spoiled rich criminal then targeted shownu and was gearing to also go after each member. It all seemed very targeted that they were going to basically go for each member till someone or all of them broke or their run of rising success was broken. Which is what galls me that dispatch was part of this and is a main used promo as well and wonho himself would have to work with once he solo debuted with no consequences for them or the source. He left to protect his brothers and MX and its future. I honestly think he could have stuck it out and most monbebe fought with the goal of letting him have the choice to return if he wanted. Monbebe both in sk and internationally had van signs, digital signs, posters, hashtags, daily actions and more all to keep him in sight so both he could see us support him and to stop his case being swept under the carpet. Many demanded starship protect their artists as they did nothing to really stop it, investigate or respond to mbb. The fandom gained support from other fanbases like carats and aghase who in turn monbebe supported on comebacks after. It was the first time I saw a mutual love and understanding between kpop fans and in a unified stance. While there is a LOT of work and change to be done in sk culturally and within companies who as recent event show have learned nothing so far I do hope it is a ripple that starts a wave eventually in seeing accusations dealt with in both a fair, transparent manor. The old school tactic of no matter the accusation to make the idol grovel and apologise and then shut them in a basement for 3-12+months isn’t acceptable. They should be fairly protected, accusations investigated and proven lies prosecuted. I thought none of my groups would ever be involved in anything that would loose a member but even in the almost 4 yrs I have had kpop in my life I have seen it touch two of my main groups, and scrape and batter more. Sadly haters, rich spoiled brats, anti-fans and saesangs can literally ruin a life just cause they want to these days. Fans in almost all cases dig the evidence to prove false the accusation and can with detective level logic breakdown the times, schedule inconsistencies, image manipulation etc that blow it wide open and usually find a link to an anti or known saesangs accounts. Which is what international fans find most frustrating as the accusation itself can be career ending but even after legally proving innocence or lies the company, public and culture doesn’t care. They are fast to set idols lives on fire but no one races to grab the fire extinguisher if the find they tied an innocent to the stake. Wonho was my first stunned group and this announcement left a horrible Halloween for me and while I wholly support MXand wonho I’d did change my relationship with Mx as Wonho is my bias so I prob won’t buy albums now without him I get his instead. I regret not finding a way to see them in the uk months before this happened. Sadly VIXX my ultimate group and reason I found kpop was also attacked and Hongbin forced out. He will always be a member of vixx to real starlights and antis made a mountain out of an out of context moment which was evidence by folks there but no one cared about the truth and that’s the hardest thing. The truth doesn’t matter. Which is why we saw hyunjin benched and missing kingdom because jyp sat on its butt and did the old school tactic. Kdrama actors have been accused and removed and replaced in first leading roles only to be proven falsely accused months later. But the public don’t care. All I guess we can do is as fans is follow the monbebe path, fight for protection for idols and companies to pledge to an industry standard in these situations. To keep targeted idols in positive posts and hashtags as toxic or aggressive fans send a msg to sk public they then tie to that idol and will not help. It is heart wrenching and emotional when a group you Stan or a bias is a target and I don’t want anyone let alone idols to go through that anguish, they have enough pressure in their lives. Best advice is positive sharing, find a good fanbase chat on tumblr or kakao etc that you can support and get support from as it’s your kpop friends that can make the difference. They know what you are going through and you all want to support your member. There are literally no safe groups as haters are everywhere and would attack most groups so it’s impossible to steer clear but you have to focus on the great content and music they give us and how we get happy and crazy excited for a comeback or stages and let that balance out the times of worry and tears. Hope you find lots more groups and artists to love as a multistan has the most complex and rewarding life with comebacks every week and must have albums you shouldn’t be buying but it’s invigorating and rewarding. I have 58 bias and still counting! I will always be grateful for a random RU-vid auto play late one night of VIXX scentist and staying cause I saw Leo and thought he was cgi final fantasy character. I have made real actual friends and reconnected with long known ones and sharing my meltdowns with those who understand my squeals is priceless. I hope you find this too. 💖👏🏻🇰🇷

So, Monsta X has been one of my bias groups for several years now. When Wonho's "scandal" happened, it took a serious emotional toll on me. I became a more cynical person, which is not who I am. I remember the night Losing You was released. I was sobbing in my bed and ended up having two anxiety attacks throughout the night, and only getting 2 hours of sleep and going to work the next morning. It will always be a song I carry with me.

If you found it tough getting through Losing You when you barely knew anything about him, imagine how tough it was for Monbebes who had watched him leave to save the rest of the group, endure a very long period of silence where we had no idea if he was ok or if he would be coming back, then come back with that song! It was such an emotional rollercoaster. Thankfully he has been able to come back like a tsunami and make a success of his solo career. I will always be sad we can't see the guys together.
