Einmal gemessen - alles war ok. Spot gewechselt. Zweites Mal gemessen - alles war ok. Ein drittes Mal gemessen - auf Krampf etwas gefunden (nach fast 2 Stunden), wofür man endlich eine Anzeige schreiben kann. Unfassbar frech, was man sich gefallen lassen muss.

The Austrian police should really be embarrassed. Instead of protecting and serving the community you spend hours harassing people enjoying their cars.

Official rules for exhaust testing: ( DIN ISO 5130:2017-12 ) "According to DIN ISO 5130:2017-12, the sound level of a car's exhaust should be measured at an engine speed corresponding to one-third of the engine's maximum rated RPM. For most vehicles, this typically falls around 2,000 to 3,000 RPM, depending on the specific engine's redline. This ensures that the measurement is taken at a representative operating condition without reaching extreme engine speeds. Microphone Placement: Positioning the microphone 0.5 meters from the exhaust outlet at a 45-degree angle." 1: Based on the video they were not correct, because the side exhaust doesn't have a 90 degree angle cmopare to the car's side... The Mic should be more close to the tires. 2: And why do I have the feeeling you rev the car up to 3000 instead of the correct ~2100 ? ( ~6300/3 ) Ask the Technical data sheet from dodge to provide it to you with the decibel limits at what RPM range. Do not pay to the police because what they've done is no correct. So at the end NO the police were not nice at all, and this is the main problem why people don't want to go there anymore. The police is a$$ there and unethical (or they don't know how to do their job)

Von 2015 weg war ich jedes Jahr dort. Wörthersee und danach zur XS Carnight. Es macht micht zu tiefst traurig in welche Richtung es in Österreich mit der Autoszene geht. Zum Thema Polizei auf Autotreffen in Österreich (nicht nur Wörthersee): Ich wurde zum TÜV geschickt wegen einer LUFTFILTERMATTE von K&N. Es werden Landesweit Polizeistellen zusammengelegt da wir keine Polizisten haben aber für solche Spielchen haben wir genug. Danke Schäfchen das du allen zeigst wie absurd Österreich hier ist. Alle Polizisten machen nur ihren Job, gesteuert wird dies aber von der Politik. Wobei die Freundlichkeit bei manchen Polizisten vergebens gesucht wird. Danke für deine Videos.

28:14 ich denke die Viper ist zu laut, weil die Messung mit offener Türe und einem Polizisten direkt daneben stattgefunden hat. Da prallt der Schall überall ab und die Messung wird verfälscht.

Die Kontrolle der „Freundlichen“ hat in mir eine unerwartet starke innerliche Aggression ausgelöst.

Zu 28:14.... Austrittswinkel vom Auspuff sind 45° zur Viper, warum messen die dann ebenfalls im 45° Winkel zur Viper und nicht zum Endrohr??? Die Tür ist offen und lenkt die Schallwellen, die nach vorne entweichen wieder nach hinten.... ....zum Messgerät... Der Cop steht direkt neben dem Schallpegelmessgerät.... Der Abstand zum Auspuffrohr sind niemals 50cm.... maximal 40cm Ist ja kein Wunder, dass der Karren dann "zu laut" ist...

Ich gönne es den Hotels, Tankstellen und Restaurants, dass sie mal so richtig auf die Schauze fliegen. Sollen merken was sie hatten und versaut haben. Die Leute suchen sich dann halt was anderes wo die Polizei ned so übermotiviert ist und der Region fehlt das Geld.

Ich vermute das ist in AT genau so wie in CH, da wir die Normen von der EU übernommen haben. Die Stand-Messung, welche mit dem Wert im Fahrzeugschein bzw. der Typengenehmigung, abgeglichen wird, gilt nur als Referenz. Sprich, man macht eine Plausibilitätsprüfung mit dem Referenzwert. Rechtlich bindend, für Zulassungen, Stilllegungen usw., ist nur die Durchfahrtsmessung und diese ist an viele Vorgaben gebunden. Weicht aber der im Stand gemessene Wert zu fest vom Referenzwert im Fahrzeugschein ab, dann wird das Fahrzeug eingezogen, eben für diese offizielle Durchfahrtsmessung.

Ich glaube nicht das es je wieder wird wie früher, aber ich kann mir sehr gut vorstellen das gerade weil die Wirtschaft da in gewisser Weise vom "Tuning Tourismus" abhängig ist, sich nach und nach über die Jahre wieder eine gewisse Szene bilden wird. Ich hoffe es sogar, nur halt diesmal vielleicht etwas geordneter. So weh es tut, ohne das alle zusammen arbeiten um eventuelle Treffen sicherer und "ruhiger" zu machen können wir das ganze vergessen.

I almost forgot, I got a 1000 euro fine and they took our plates, the biggest in my life, for loud exhaust, not even doing something crazy, just driving normally and small pops, was driving one of my best friends M4 G82, amazing memories, but I was broke back then, still grateful for my friend because he paid the fine and help me go with him on the trip, and it was the best trip by far...

4:00 also ich leb in Villach und hier in der Stadt war es jedem egal ob das Tuning Treffen war wir haben es alle geliebt, natürlich gibt es ältere Leute die es nicht mögen oder auch jüngere aber allem in allem war es ein Tolles Erlebnis mit dem Wörthersee. Damals wie ich kleiner war war es was besonderes wenn man mit seiner Familie zum Wörthersee gefahren ist. Es war einfach das Tageshighlight mit so 5 Jahren

I´ve been at Woerthersee at the "good old times" around 2006-2014. One or two weeks before the official event and it was the best times. It was the beginning of the VR6 Turbos and the peaktime of the Low-Familia and VWHome. We made the first meetings at Schiefling or Faak. The US Guys from Wagenwerks who made the sickest videos from the event and the cars.... It was the best time of the year and i love it!!

The Police in Germany impounded my Fully Stock F82 M4 (not even Lowered) because the Mrs. didnt believe me that the Valves on the Muffler were from Factory on the System. Which ofcourse was absolutely wrong as the TÜV Said and after 2 Weeks i got my Car back. But thats how they roll here in Austria and Germany.

I guess, the noise measurement was wrong. ISO ISO 5130:2017 requires a 50cm distance from the exhaust pipe at an 45º angle!!! (I think, the angle was to small!). The full norm: Wichtig für KFZ mit 4 Rädern zur Personenbeförderung: 1. Maßgebend für die Betriebserlaubnis ist das Fahrgeräusch, und nicht das Standgeräusch. Da man das Fahrgeräusch allerdings nur sehr aufwändig messen kann, und im Regelfall ein Polizist das nicht bei einer Verkehrskontrolle machen möchte, darf als Anhaltspunkt auch das Standgeräusch herangezogen werden. 2. Als Referenzwert gilt der in den Papieren unter U1 eingetragene Wert in dB. 3. Bei der Messung müssen folgende Punkte erfüllt werden: - Das Messmikrofon muss auf Höhe des Enrohrs (nicht aber geringer als 20cm Abstand zum Boden), in 50cm Entfernung aufgestellt werden. Der Winkel muss 45° zur Längsachse des Endrohres betragen. 4. Um das Messgerät herum darf sich weder eine Person noch andere akkustisch störende Objekte wie Sträucher, Autos, etc. befinden. 5. Zudem muss die Umgebungslautstärke mindestens 10dB unter der Referenzlautstärke (Standgeräusch, Papiere -> U1) sein. 6. Bei jedem Messversuch muss die Motordrehzahlt konstant auf einem Wert gehalten werden. Dieser Wert ermittelt sich aus der Drehzahl bei dem die maximale Leistung des Fahrzeugs (laut Papieren) anliegt. Diese Drehzahl nennen wir S. -> falls: S < 5000upm ist, dann ist die Zieldrehzahl: 75% von S -> falls: 5000 < S < 7500 upm, dann ist die Zieldrehzahl: 3750upm (ja, konstanter Wert!) -> falls S > 7500, dann ist die Zieldrehzahl: 50% von S (es gilt nicht die unter U2 eingetragene Drehzahl) Nach halten der Drehzahl für mindestens 2s muss das Gaspedal abrupt losgelassen werden. Bei der Messung gilt der Höchstwert in dB in der Zeit zwischen halten der Drehzahl bis zur Ruhe Drehzahl. 7. Es muss solange gemessen werden bis es 3 Messungen gibt, bei denen die Abweichung zwischen jeder Messung nicht mehr als 2dB beträgt. 8. Hat man dann mindestens 3 Messwerte, so sind diese bis auf ganze dB zu runden. Danach wird der arithmetische Mittelwert gebildet. Also ganz einfach: (Messwert1 + Messwert2 + Messwert3)/3 = Standgeräusch 9. Die DIN Norm sagt, dass eine Abweichung vom Referenzwert von weniger als 5dB als nicht signifikant gilt. Mit anderen Worten, auf das Endergebnis kommt +5dB für etwaige Messungenauigkeiten, liegt man dann noch drüber wird im Regelfall das Fahrzeug eingezogen. 10. Dabei völlig egal ist, ob die Abgasanlage eingetragen oder sogar Original ist .. zu laut ist zu laut, und damit würde die Betriebserlaubnis erlöschen. Bitte beachtet dass es Änderungen zu dieser Norm geben kann. 2017 ist die letzte gültige Norm, es wird 2020 jedoch an einer überarbeiteten Version gearbeitet - es werden allerdings keine großen Änderungen erwartet.

Last time I went was 2014 in the C63 amg from the UK, was hoping to do it again but even back then the police were starting to do things back then, like you said lots of others ruined it too with their driving (the sensible ones did these sort of things out of town). Such ashame as it’s a beautiful place which I went twice both times for over a week. Some of my best memories with friends are the whole trip driving there from the UK, all the meets through the week, street racing at night in quiet areas, restaurants and the owners of the hotel we kept going to. I know VW are trying to bring something back but for the other german cars it looks like it may start in Italy after a large meet for a few days was done last year.

Ich war 2022 das letzte mal am Wörthersee. Da war das Treffen tatsächlich so wie man es gewohnt war, ewige Staus, volle Parkplätze und treffen die in Slowenien und Italien organisiert wurden, irgendwo in der Pampa wo Burnouts und Antilag keinen gestört hat. Fand ich echt gut. Aber scheinbar haben die es sich so vergrault, dass wirklich erstmal keiner mehr kommt. Ich hoffe dadurch das gepfeffert und die lokalen Hotels sich bemühen die Leute wieder an den See zu bekommen, das Treffen wieder zurückkehrt.

My mk7R was there and they took my plates because they measured my car in launch controll and i didn’t know it was against the law. I dm’d you and your friend on instagram but you didn’t answer yet… i also got fined 1000€ just for the noise. I am from Slovenia and i had to tow the car back to Ljubljana. What’s the process of suing police, i have launch controll testing on video. Thank you

Je nachdem welche Messvorschrift hier angewendet werden muss (für Österreich kann ich das nicht genau sagen) muss zur Messung der Motordrehzahl ein externer Drehzahlmesser verwendet werden. Wenn das nicht gemacht wurde, kann man die Messung eventuell anzweifeln.

I am from the Wörthersee and I enjoyed all this cars and stuff like this. Its really sad to watch for me, because it was like a tredition, my dad was always there and me also. And me and my friends were sitting on the side of the road and were watching the cool cars. But the police in Kärnten is very strict, I have alot of friends that got a "Tafalriss" But at least the GTI Stone is still standing in Reifnitz.

Germany and Austria used to be the strictest, but in recent years the danish police have really harsh with cars. If its. Too loud. Too low, any possible chance of ecu flash, basicly anything. The car gets impounded on the spot and send the the brand workshop of the car to get tested and looked over. If its legal you get it back, if its illegal, any mods get sent to destruction, even the Ecu wich Can get flashed back to stock.

Ich war 2007- 2012 jedes Jahr am See, es war einfach MEGA! Des mit de Kiwara war noch nicht so arg, Kennzeichen wegnehmen gabs damals sowieso noch nicht, hast vll. mal 25,- fürs Spulen zahlt und des wars, oder weils mal zum Pyramidenkogel rauf geheizt bist in der Gruppe. Aber ansonsten war alles so gechillt. Silberrücken wie wir ihn damals genannt haben (Herr Mischkulnig) der war auch tiefenentspannt. :D War einfach eine andere Zeit. Abends schön mit der Gang Essen gegangen, in der Pension noch a bisse gsoffn und am nächsten Morgen wieder zur Mischke, Auto waschen und schön im Korso nach Reifnitz, Pyramidenkogel und Faaker See (des Treffen is zu der Zeit damals übrigens entstanden auf dem riesigen Parkplatz).

Ich denke, die Messung ist nicht korrekt durchgeführt worden. Ich kenne den Messaufbau in Österreich nicht, aber in Deutschland muss das Messgerät in Höhe der Auspuffmündung mindestens aber 20 cm über dem Boden im Abstand von 50 cm und im Winkel von 45°± 10° zur Ausströmöffnung aufgestellt werden. Schaue ich mir die Bilder an, steht das Messgerät nicht im 45° Winkel zur Öffnung. Weil deine Ausströmöffung schräg nach hinten zeigt, hätte das Messgerät in einem flacheren Winkel zum Fahrzeug aufgestellt werden müssen. So pustet der Auspuff direkt in das Mikrofon des Gerätes.

Na, bei allem Respekt...das Treffen in dieser Form mit den Schikanen hat keine Zukunft. Die Frage wird sein, ob sich in einem anderen Land eine Alternative bieten wird. E: Das Argument dass es früher so ruhig war ist halt ein Blödsinn, wenn man in den YT Videos von 1987 bereits Burnouts sieht. Dass man den Blödsinn ned 4 Wochen lang bis spät nachts machen sollte ist natürlich genauso logisch, aber zwischen solche Leute bestrafen und grundlos stundenlang Leute mitlegalen Autos nerven ist halt ein gewaltiger Unterschied.
