Obsessing over a third star is dumb . You want guys who bring value when NOT taking the ball out of Embiid/Maxey’s hands. Philly’s roster needs to resemble Denver as much as possible. Denver is the standard for a team that’s built around a superstar big, and Philly even has their version of Jamal Murray in Maxey. Ball hogs and ball dominant players are a no no, because they just take touches away from Embiid. They should be looking to get high-iq shooters and defenders to replace Tobias Harris and DeAnthony Melton. (Again, to bring up Denver, similar to guys like KCP, MPJ, Bruce Brown, etc)

I’m with Stephen A. Let Kawhi stay in LA. I got no time for injury prone players. I don’t like them on my team as a fan. People sometimes underestimate how important it is to be a reliable, durable player. I don’t care how much of a super star you’re supposed to be, if you ain’t on the court half the time, it’s not worth it. You can keep Zion, AD, and Kawhi

No they need a 18+ ppg player and not an around the edges type player. They are still having issues when Embiid isn’t playing and then if Maxey is out Embiid will need another player that can put up 20+ easy. Harris is too inconsistent. They don’t need another all star or high caliber player but they need a good player. Would love to get Mitchell or Siakam.

When you look at the stats on the 76ers, their biggest issue right now is winning against 500+ teams (W 6-8 L) - the Pacers are better, the Magic is better. Compared to the #2 Bucks (W 10-5 L), they're awful, even worse if compared to the league-leading Celtics (W 15-5 L). No way you get to be a #2 team in your conference unless you address this massive flaw. Do they need a 3rd star? an improved bench? or some other solution? It ain't clear that the coach & GM really know right now, but the proverbial elephant in the room is they fail badly against good teams, and their #3 spot is mostly based on winning against the bottom 3rd of the league.
