I ended up down a path of witch craft and her experience of dumping all the items reminds me so much of God's pursuit and reveal of himself to me. You really do feel the need to dump all the idols and flee to the precious and Holy Christ.
I was in college and was part of an apostolic ministry for a while. Their gospel was so wrong, but because of the highly Emotional/ positive atmosphere and some of My friends being part of it- I stayed. There are so many rules and regulations that I just up and left last year! (It took 4 years). It’s so important that Christians know their bible- because when they were trying to re-baptize me, they kept going to Romans, to say everything my Baptist church taught me was false. I wasn’t saved until college, so I had no idea how to defend what I was taught so long ago. It just goes to show that you can be a member of a church your whole life and not be saved or be able to defend the gospel. Now I am a Christian and go to a great bible-based church with the Holy Ghost!! Lol💃🏾 God is good!
Im in tears, 42 years old me and my 5 brothers and sisters and my mother. Church 3 and four days a week. My Mom died July 4 2018. She taught us a lot scriptures and faith in God trust me when I tell you, but I just feel the generation of the 40s and 50s didn't fully make us 70s babies fully knowledgeable in the word. Umm, I am absolutely shook and wrecked in every single way that is good after watching this. Glory be to God for this ministry and the boldness and fearlessness that you exhibit especially during these times. I thank The Lord for you and all that you are doing for the Kingdom of God. Amen!
This sounds like the same thing Beyonce is involved in. From the relationship breakdown she had with her husband to the searching for significance as a black woman and going full on into this movement. I pray she sees this this video and comes back to God.
Praise be to God. I also experienced the power of God bring me back to Jesus during my time in Tallahassee. Our stories are different, but the saving power of the Gospel is the same. There is only one true God, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent. Nothing else measures up.
God bless you for sharing this testimony, it personally feels like a warning. It can be so easy to slip and dim your light when you're met with rolling eyes or silence whe you speak Jesus, especially when you're eager for acceptance from what turns out to be, as Dr Sarita says, 'fleeting community'.
Thank you for this video, it made me cry because a young family member of ours is going through this right now, they have stepped away from the church, have distanced themselves totally from us including parents and they are no longer taking counsel from us, they are disgracing our family and its so so so hurtful, my family has been going through so much and I'm asking that you pray for my family member's salvation and deliverance. This video gave me hope that one day our family member will come back to us.

Did you just hear what Dr. Eric Mason he (Time:15:36) said deuteronomy 13 (African American we still have some religiosity of Africa within our folk theories) familiar spirit (demons insert themselves as ancestor and family members). After reviewing Dr. Mason's eloquent vocabulary, let's break down what he said! Religiosity ( noun : The quality of being religious. Excessive or affected piety). Theories ( plural 1 : a plausible or scientifically acceptable general principle or body of principles offered to explain phenomena the wave theory of light 2 a : a belief, policy, or procedure proposed or followed as the basis of action her method is based on the theory that all children want to learn b : an ideal or hypothetical set of facts, principles, or circumstances -often used in the phrase in theory in theory, we have always advocated freedom for all 3 a : a hypothesis assumed for the sake of argument or investigation b : an unproved assumption : conjecture c : a body of theorems presenting a concise systematic view of a subject theory of equations 4 : the general or abstract principles of a body of fact, a science, or an art music theory 5 : abstract thought : speculation 6 : the analysis of a set of facts in their relation to one another). So, you suggest by your research, our African ancestors were extremely religious, even though they could explain and investigate their hypothesis and principles; but chose to see spirits aka (demons) as you call them. Does anyone else hear how ridiculous this sounds. We should grow in critical thinking, not cling to folk allegory stories of divine literature.
Btw Dr. Mason, their not my claims, they're yours. You spoke of demons taking on familiar spirits. You must backup your claim and original sources for demons! I merely googled your own words.
I've listened to you and your peeps, you all articulate well, seriously, mad presentation skills. But your deity is no different than Bast. But we accept Bast as a fictional character of the Marvel universe. But the mere idea of Bast and Wakanda can influence and reflect on our spiritual ancestry. Sorry my mom died july 4 2018. Sorry your not a believer anymore, but I encourage u to just pick up that bible and start reading. Since she died I've been reading it and God has truly been revealing him self to me. My mom didn't teach me deeply but I started with what she did teach me and started from there. We are familiar with that and totally understand that Egypt and other Mediterranean cities and countries have older discovered material that has been recovered at this point in archeological history! Older isn’t the best argument! We will actually be challenging this fallacy about the Bible coming from Kemet aka Egypt in other videos and in an upcoming debate! Dr. Eric M. Mason I appreciate your plight! I have also witnessed others have similar experiences that this sister has experienced. It is unfortunate that men (humankind)have muniplating energies and attempt through All religions to direct followers in the opposite direction of God/Goddess. Even to the point that the concept of the ALL MOST HIGH is personified and something outside of SELF. I have found validity in several practices and have come to a clear realization. There is no need for one main medium to connect as this presence is within and simply requires cultivation. How one does that is vast as the ALL is so very abundant!! There are no coincidences and whatever one chooses to practice should ultimately be a sincere tool to be ONE.. Also, the conception of ancestor "worship" is often misunderstood because of the notion of worship. It is in honor of...REVERENCE of...just as there is for the mother and father, or elder when they are in the flesh. Ancestors are acknowledged in this same way. We all have common knowing that life does not end or begin with the flesh. In this way it is a continuous honor not worship. In viewing the writings in Kemet there are instructions in cultivation not simple worship and it is vital to remember that every piece of literature that we have access to is someone else's interpretation and not to solely rely on what someone says is the ALL. Becareful Mr.Mason maybe some academic egyptological works on what is medu neter and it's history before you taken on the kemetic students of the conscious community.
Good msg. Well-spoken and all. My concern is that her ‘coming back’ was her “random flip” of the Bible that gave her a scripture that helped her. I’m glad it helped but that in it self is a form of divination. It’s called bibliomancy and the problem with it is that we use the Bible as a crystal ball. (“Whatever the pages happen to land surely is the work of the Lord and is for me”). That’s pagan and we can’t bash and demonize while we do the same. Only difference is most Christians do it and put the stamp of “God” on it to make it ‘good’. That’s where hypocrisy easily slips in and credibility slips out.
So you don't believe that the Spirit of God reveal the Fathers will in his word to his own. God wil always speak to us through his word. Im not understanding how you can mix getting a message from God by flipping the pages of his word and comparing it to pagan practices.
Yes I believe God speaks thru the word. I'm just saying it's easy to randomly flip the pages and apply whatever scripture you read to the present circumstance. The Bible is literally full of inspiration. Her method is just not that "profound" to me.
And see... This is the stuff that James White and John McArthur can never understand with how they view things. 😢 They will never understand why we have these conversations. Its not their problem so to them its not relevant to the gospel.
It's amazing how we easily dismiss our cultural heritage and ancestry beliefs and cling to a bible belief. As if one was actually more believable over the over. It makes no sense to dwell in make believe! No dogma is true or fact, it's all man-made!
Whats amazing to me is that if you go back far enough - before Christianity took hold in our respective ancestral lands we were all practicing essentially the same religion. The rituals and deities and myths would vary from culture to culture, but the same themes of ancestor worship, orgies, human sacrifice to gain divine blessing, necromancy, all show up in practically every people group.
