In the books Wolf’s name is Moe (could stand for Maurice), Snakes name is Hubert, Piranha’s name is Pepe (I guess he was always depicted as being Spanish) and Shark’s name is Lou (probably for Louis). Tarantula doesn’t have a name since the character didn’t appear in the first book. Remember that Tarantula was a male in the books and a female in the movie. I wonder if we can call her Nora (Awkwafina’s actual name). Diane’s name is Ellen in the books.

Meh It just painted them how they were charming. Because that there characters they are Charlaton. They have to be witty and charismatic or else their disguises, distractions,etc won’t really work. Like two adults flirting. Neither of them having a specific power dynamic just two people both equally good at their craft. But I agree def better than that. Much like Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps, the chemistry between these two just can't be denied. It's just a real shame that these two didn't have their "Bad Romance". I mean, the chemistry is right there...but nothing was done with it. I mean, Wolf's could of had an obvious crush on both Diane and The Crimson Paw. A thing that could of helped out with their chemistry was a flirtatious relationship Diane and Wolf had during her times as The Crimson Paw - such as winks and kiss blowing. Heck, why not have Wolf's gang tease him about his crush over them?

Ngl I like how they don't make them officially a thing and or explicitly state his crush. Too many movies do this and I feel like it's overdone. Let the viewer take their chemistry and see it by itself instead of this shoehorn "You fallen in love with her?" Trope. Their whole relationship throughout this films says it all, they don't really need to dive into it in order for people to get that they're a thing. Leave it up to fanfiction writers okay?

I feel like in a sequel they could already be together and possibly expecting a kid. The focus could be on the message of the world of crime never forgets them. Word could come out that Diane is rumored by the press to be the Crimson Paw. I’d assume they’d figure out Marmalade is still guilty for stealing the meteorite, but he’s not the Crimson Paw. I think focus could really be put on Snake and he has a hard time adjusting to a life without crime and does the world see him for what or who he is.

I could even see The Bad Guys taking it up a notch and maybe getting a bit darker and edgier since DreamWorks hasn’t been afraid to go that route. I mean it really works. Wolf is the main protagonist and he's a team leader. Something many fictional works overlook is that good leaders don't just belt out orders and be top dog, but actually acknowledge the other members and their contributions. Plus you know, Wolf interacts with everyone, that means everyone gets some spotlight. :P
