Other than his weak claves (which I think he tore at some point cuz they weren’t bad in 07) he had the ideal bodybuilding physique. Really no weak points. Obviously the judges didn’t see it that way as they favored the shorter less aesthetic physiques. His 07 and 08 looks were unreal

@@darbyohara to be fair calves are the muscle group which are mostly dependant on genetics. If you have the best package ever nobody is gonna ignore you because of your calves but his X shape is insane

@@maba5202 no they’re not. Literally every body part of based on genetics. If you make compromises for the dudes with weak calves then you gotta corrupt the standard for the dudes with weak lat insertions, etc.

Yeah ! Even phil admitted that dennis was close to win in 2013 mr olympia where he got 3rd. But ideally shouldve been placed 2nd infront of kai as dennis came super condition in finals. Had he not been injured he might ve won multiple olympias only weakness of his was back and calves rest was all in place. Some time politics and sm time injuries do take toll on champs. He is one of such guys ! Unlucky ! But luke ya big bad wolf.

Sad thing is, 2007 was probably his best physique. But they were like "uh this dude is new, let´s give him 5th place. It´s still my opinion that at the end of the day he looked better than anyone else that year. Bodybuilding judging is a weird thing these days.

@HoKage_888 Trigger point myofascia release gets rid of tightness, knots, and can help increase flexibility. The particular things the guy was doing to him were stupid though and you should never have to go that hard and use elbows and so on instead of your hands, even on someone as muscular as an IFFB pro, and the things to his arms in particular were stupid and I’m sure he didn’t have muscle knots there.

@@Pantelifts10 True. His 2007 version was probably one of the very best physiques we have ever seen in modern bodybuilding. This small waist with huge full delts, arms and legs was next level shit. Even his walking looked cool, lol. It´s so sad they didn´t appreciate that, especially because unfortunately he was regressing most of his later career.

That moment when you realize...the gym where you train now is the one he used to go to back in the days in Germany ❤ Of course I knew he trained there, because we have a lot of photos of him on the walls, but it's still a difference when you see the weights, machines and bars you use every day in this video

Kinda funny I've been following body building since I was a kid in the 70s and when this guy came out I knew for sure he was going to be the best of all time!! I couldn't belive it when cutler n Coleman types and even Dorian kept winning??! I actually stopped buying magazines n stuff cuz of it. If I could be built like any of them I'd pick wolf hands down! Not even a second thought! He's right there with serge nubret in my book!!
