Mick Taylor decides to pick up a gun. Disclaimer: I do not own the show/movie. All credit goes to Lionsgate, LDS Stan Entertainment, Zodiak Entertainment
Have you noticed something, he always talks to his victims in a friendly manner even before killing, because he is doing this for joy, not because of some grudge. Its his killing addiction. He has no badblood with anyone, just enjoys killing people...he can't escape this addiction
Only difference between this one and the rest is the fact that Mick genuinely didn't want to kill this guy because he was a close friend of his fathers and had known him for a long time. Look at the way Mick looks at him as he is dying and also the look he gives himself when he is in the car he is weighing his options and evidently comes to the conclusion because he knows too much and Mick doesn't want to take that chance in case the authorities get involved.
@@SerraPontosSoc exactly😂 this is what i noticed...he had a good bond with him but still killed him...its his addiction. Its like, we love our father very much, but we have a habit of stealing money from his wallet even when he needs them the most😂😂😂
I’m American and only just saw John Jarrat as himself recently, and it makes this character even better! He completely transformed, even down to his body movements, such a fantastic actor.
As an Aussie - Wolf Creek et al is perhaps the scariest, and most evil movie series I have ever watched. It is totally "legit" that someone like him could exist out in the Outback...... Me being a Grey Nomad, makes me more aware of my surroundings when touring our great country. And I ALWAYS have my shotgun ready....
It's bloody lonely in the outback anyone could exist out there and fly under the radar. I can watch any horror movie without any care but Wolf Creek is the only one that disturbs me to the core because of how realistic a monster could kill in the desert and easily get away with it scot free.
@@gospelofrye6881 Not effectively for any self defense. Gun has to be locked and unladed and you can only go with it directly to range or specific hunting areas. You absolutely can NOT have a shotgun "ready when touring. And of course the gun there is just a bolt action. No different than if it was just a rile with wooden stocks.
if Mick was as evil as people say he is then he would have killed the guy and packed his car with as many guns and ammo as would fit , then stashed it all in that secret underground lair of his .. that old disused convict 1800's dungeon !
If only the gun shop owner kept his mouth shut. You could see the expression on Mick's face change when he brings up the copper hunting him and how they all make mistakes. You knew right then and there Mick decided he was a dead man.
I will tell you why. The fellow gave the impression that he approved of the cop's abilities to find the killer but if he had said something like "i hate cops and i hope they never find the killer" then i reckon Mick would have let him live.@@cianbroderick7733
Surely only because he may have put 2 and 2 together with the murders. After all, it's implied he and his father have been going to that store for years.
Talkin abt all clues puzzles etc made Mick think . Had he not mentioned the killings and how every little detail counts he wudv still been alive had the police come by that shop to talk to the old man he wud of said ABT his customers to them and with that the possibility of him puttin Mick on their radar and Mick clearly knew in the car that wasn't a risk he was willing to take .and realised he had no choice but to kill him .
Mick didn't want to kill him.. He liked the guy but he was a potential witness and what he said about how all the clues add up.. Mick couldn't take that risk since the old guy knew about the killings in the area and he had no choice.. But the part where Mick cocks the rifle to chamber the 2nd round.. The look on his face seemed to say "Sorry mate.." So he didn't wanna kill the guy.. Mick liked him.. He just had no choice because he didn't wanna risk being caught
I've seen all of them hahaha bud the dogs ain't the best part tho dogs don't care what they eat as long as they can eat hahaha I want to go to wolf creek I love it all
3:00 I would say, the gun shop owner was something like a friend to Mick, until the moment, he came up with the newspaper. You can see in his face, it's not easy for him to do that.
@@bigmaxy07 In fact, Mike wanted to get the attention of the detective the old man mentioned in the paper, to let him know he was around. He even confirms it in the end to the other psychopath there. Mike saw that the detective who had caught other famous criminals in the area was good and wanted a challenge, so he needed to leave clues to lure him there. He really didn't want to kill the old man at first for being known, as his expression shows, but he knew he had to.
true even his friend is shocked that mick was the killer and you can see tears in talors eyes like or hate to people mick had ranged from randomers to arsholes who would sell out a whole bus load of people to save himself but this one for mick felt personal and even in his dying moments the storekeeper understood and just accepted his fate
@@aaronmeade5435 yeah man he’s eyes are actually watery, this bondage between mick and the gun shop owner might have sparked some emotions in Mick assuming he’s probably emotionless due to his murderous psychopathic story.
@@AndiAli rabbits are massive pests. If someone shooting a rabbit makes you upset you should go play with some barbie dolls. And he is selling guns for hunting what is wrong with that at all
@taj sharieff I mean come on a psychopath in the middle of barren wasteland with ll sorts of underground bunkers to hide it doesnt seem possible plus he always has these tricks under his sleeves
@@naturaldreamland2726 The police publicly deny his existence, as they are unable to catch him, Eve even finds several reports of unsolved crimes, in addition to the testimonies of Ben Mitchel (protagonist of the first film). To prevent the press from covering, authorities there decided to "ignore" Mike's existence, giving people who died as missing in the desert.
@@StorytellingMan its all his game plan he's probably loving that fact. He's been trolling the police for so long. Just stereotypical useless police lmao.
In Australian gunshops you'd have to show your licence before they let you handle it, and even if you want to buy, you then have to apply for a permit to acquire which can take over a week.
Notice he started reflecting when he got into the truck? 😏 he probably would’ve let him go about his day if he never mentioned the wolf creek murders. ♏️
Mick made a big mistake he left his finger prints everywhere if the gun store had surveillance cameras he would have cops all over him there would be no escape.
To think he acted as Terry, in McLeod's Daughters as a great bloke, humble as well. But every time i watch it and hear him laugh, reminds me of his role of Mick Taylor. It's hell creepy lol
He only killed him because his friend was suspicious and just in case the cops came down to question him he didn't want to take any chances and potentially get himself captured and arrested. You can tell he really didn't want to kill him based upon his reaction when he was sitting in his car contemplating what to do whether or not to kill him. He ultimately does as to cover up his tracks and to potentially stop his friend from inadvertently setting the cops on him should they come around and start asking questions.
He would not regard them as a higher being than himself. Hence he devalues every other human being, he would only get along if it's entertaining for him. So like every other psychopath or sociopath in this case, it would be in his interest to take advantage and maybe find a way out or have fun and play games with them. At least that's how I imagine it.
for a start he would be placed in a maximum security prison without contact with other inmates and very strict supervision by the screws ..at least that is what happened to me when i got put in Golb supermax / out after 6 years of a 22 yr sentence on a techo but that's a very long story 4 another day !
Knowing Mick's MO though, and the fact she was on foot and therefore wouldn't be far away - I'd be SHOCKED if he didn't grab her on his way out. The prequel books really flesh out how vicious and depraved he truly is, he wouldn't pass her up.
It wouldn't be very tactical and smart of him would it though. He was in a gun shop with the owner standing right next to him and potentially other people could have seen it in that were in the area.
The owner knows of the killing spree going on, and he didn't like the fact he talked about his dad. It brought him back memories. Good news is bad news, which means the bad news is him getting killed is good news for Mick. And also bad news on the paper is good news for Mick so he knows he is getting chased
Completely off at all it's got nothing do with his dad at all it's when the clerk said someone recognises them Mick thought it's better to clean up lose ends it wasn't personal it was survival
The shop owner knows about the killing spree that is going on in mick's father place, plus he watches them crime showes and he knows a police officer is after the killer. So he could easily identify mick if the police officer shows up in the shop. If he had kept his mouse shut. Non of this would have happened. Just like the women in the first season that owns a restaurant. He killed her because she did not keep her mouse shut. She told him i know you . I never forget a face.
Me pareció raro que se fuera de la tienda sin haber matado a nadie, pero se volvió y se cargó al viejo, algo dentro de el le decía que matara, porque cuando salió la primera vez, estuvo en la camioneta pensando un rato.

This scene always confused me. The shop owner had given absolutely NO hints or indicators that he suspected Mick of being the killer, he even acts flabbergasted when he finds out that mick actually is. Other than Mick being extremely overly paranoid about getting caught i don't see any good reason he had to kill this man
He only killed him because his friend was suspicious and too invested in the case and just in case the cops came down to question him he didn't want to take any chances and potentially get himself captured and arrested. You can tell he really didn't want to kill him based upon his reaction when he was sitting in his car contemplating what to do whether or not to kill him. Plus don't forget Mick is a violent psychopath, rational thinking and empathy don't exist for people like that it's a foreign concept.
What lacks believability in this scene is firstly Mick didn't bother stealing the high end gun he used to shoot the owner (plus extra boxes of ammo), then he left fingerprints everywhere for the Crime scene detectives to find, along with likely CCTV footage also
