This is the saddest song. I think this song was first written about a depressed man falling into the hell of artificial paradises, and realizing he may not be able to get out of this one. I might be wrong but this is how I felt it listening to it. Amazing lyrics.
each and every summer I watch it again, each and every time I expect it to be different, each and ever time I get my heart fucked up to pieces, but damn it feels good, each and every time
+Misaka Mikoto Steve Conte is fantastic! I'd try to see if you can/could download his work and/or this album before illegally downloading it, but I understand if the latter is more appealing. Lol.
Oddly enough, the anime that go best in English are my favorites. That's where my three favorite anime fall. Number one is Trigun, the Ballad of Vash the Stampede, a pacifist whose life goes from adorable and lovable to traumatically horrendous. Number two is Cowboy Bebop, the cult masterpiece story bout American culture reflected through bounty hunters who continue to run from their past. Number three, however, is able to fit with both English and Japanese. Wolf's Rain, the tale of four wolves who've been outcast into the most empty of worlds, seeking purpose in life and paradise. What makes these three so distinct for me is that, at times, their worlds seem so damn empty. Like as if the characters are the only people around. But it's also able to do a very good blend at showing how humanity and life as we know it is able to stand tall and survive against all odds.
well i still have my own journey finding wolfs rain one of the best animes ive ever seen. for now (just saw till episode 25 - wich plays this song) and it was the first time it ever triggered something in me, like, for instance, come looking for the song name to listen to it again and all. so far seems ok overall, but anything remarkable for me, lets see how it does in the end. about the rest, couldnt agree more, both trigun and bebop couldnt stand more solid on any top list of mine.
Yeah, the song is awesome, I found a vid of Steve Conte playing it live on an accoustic And watched it a thousand times to learn it myself..and did. Wolfs Rain was the best
heaven's not enough if when you get there.. just another blue and heaven's not enough you think you've found it and it loses you you've thought of all there is but not enough and it loses you in a cloud "there" most everything is nothin' that it seems "where" you see the things you only wanna see I'd fly away to a higher plane to say words I resist to float away to sigh to breathe.... forget and heaven's not enough if when I'm there I don't remember you and heaven does enough you think you know it and it uses you I saw so many things but like a dream always losing me in a cloud cause I couldn't cry cause I turned away couldn't see the score didn't know the pain of leaving yesterday really far behind in another life in another dream by a different name gave it all away for a memory and a quiet lie and I felt the face of a cold tonight still don't know the score but I know the pain of leaving everything really far behind and if I could cry and if I could live what truth I did then take me there heaven goodbye
Here I am watching this beautiful video after 10+ years... I will never forget this anime, it is impossible to forget it. It was the most beautiful anime I have seen. It is simply a masterpiece.
wolf's rain is just great! i'm watching it for the second time now and i still cry, and this song... i don't have any words for it. it's so sad but strong. it always tears me up to go on. just like wolf's rain does
He tears are really hate the fact they didn't continue this anime . Please if they have tell me and this song is so freaking amazing and sad I love it always will ❤️❤️ Wolf's Rain will always be my kind of paradise
The anime and songs chosen for it couldn't have been any better. Hands down my favorite anime of all time, and the music touches me on such a deep level, it's impossible to not love it. I can't help but cry every time I watch it and listen to it's songs. YES REAL MEN CRY!
This video was beautifully done. Even though I have only seen Wolfs Rain a handful of times... I was still captured by the emotions fused with this hidden melody. Thank you.
I love how sometimes theres' just this perfect piece of music for something, because I feel like this is Wolf's Rain's mirror of emotions in lyrical form, if that makes any sense...♥
I cried so hard in the end, it was like something I've never felt when I watched an anime. This one is really unique and all characters catched my attention and all my emotions, it was just ... epic.
There is no anime I've watched that beats Wolf's Rain. And I've seen quite a few animes trough the years. Wolf's Rain is so pure, magical and unique, it can't be compared to anything.
i'm only at episode 25 but i know that i will cry so much at the last episodes :'( this is one of the only anime's that i will remember for ever!!!! love you Wolf's Rain ♡♥♡
Thanks for recommending me watching the series. Yes I did decide already that I want to watch it because of many poeple who said that it is one of the best anime they have ever seen. And after I love the soundtrack so much that I listened to here in youtube this was immediately my thought that when the music goes so deep into the heart than the movie must also.
Steven Spielbergo So far I didn't. But you remind that I wanted to watch it. I will watch it definitely. This song and also the other songs of the movie touch my heart deeply and the anime will also I know. thanks that you remind me again.
Peter Nemeth But it's not actually a movie, it's an anime series with 25 episodes, but still totally worth it. It's my fourth favorite anime ever, and I've watched a lot.
yes. It is in english. You can get the whole series in two box sets ((Like I own it ;D love them boxes)) They run for only about 26 bucks for a box set. YOu should buy them. Wicked anime.
Why did everyone have to die in this anime?! I was crying buckets yesterday when I finished it and my mother thought that I (here I'm quoting her) "Had experienced a traumatic experience." and all that jizz and then I make her look like a truck just hit her when I said that I cried because that all the characters I really liked in the anime died...
I'd fly away To a higher plane To say words i resist To float away To sigh To breathe.... forget And heaven's not enough If when i'm there i don't remember you And heaven does enough You think you know it And it uses you I saw so many things But like a dream Always losing me in a cloud
3:10 is the best part of the SONG and the scene you chosen :D I like the scene selection you took ;) ;) Keep up the great work ;) ;) Greetz : Gabriëlle
"i thought we all go to Paradise ~together~" "lets meet agin sometime in Paradise" by: Toboe and Hige those are my favorite character R.I.P or Rest.In.Paradise
god i feel like a dope! i was listening to this with my head phones on (alone in a empty house) and music blasting and I freakin JUMPED when the guy started singing!!!! >_>
no thank you, i love this vid and before i go to bed i watch it to calm me down and i always have good dreams after that. so thanks for giving me a good night sleep i guess hahahah
Wolf's Rain is a very sad anime. :( Made me cry the first time I watched it. I think the scenes were matched pretty well. It wasn't just one of those videos with music and an episode. :|
For me, this song has such an existencial meaning. Like, we build this lie that if we are good, we will go to heaven where everything's is just like we dream. But Heaven is not interesting as earth, so we would be disconnected from people we love down here, and a whole lot of other things that make us human. But this is just a quiet lie we choose to believe. So yes, Heaven is not enough.
Well I'm sorry to hear that. Honestly, some of it does match the song, you obviously chose to not see that. It is a bit off, but when I first made it I can honestly say everything was timed correctly. Windows Movie Maker tends to screw up videos a lot.
