Looks like it would be a good salmon fishing gear bag to hold hooks, lead weights, beads, yarn, coho flies along with also a CC handgun for bear protection like a Glock 20 or 500 SW in the large inner zipped pocket. I think it looks much cooler wearing that EDC Sling than a fanny pack personally.
I actually have watch 3 videos on this no one mentioned it and you can actually clip the strap to the top D rings allowing it to be carried on either side close to the hip
