Thanks for this straightforward review. This camera has the features I need. I avoided buying a top-brand action camera that’s getting bashed for its inconsistent focus quality. I may buy this instead and save hundreds. QUESTION: Can you plug a wireless microphone in the USB slot, using a standard USB micro adapter? Or will the Wolfang input accommodate only the supplied external microphone?
Hey, thanks for your review. Can I use the camera for continuous live streaming to Twitch, RU-vid, Facebook, when connected via WiFi to the mobile APP (using RTMP protocol to stream via mobile app)? either using the battery (less time) or when using a power bank and connected via USB?
Good review! My problem with a lot of these action cameras is you can never really tel when they are recording. I shoot a lot of videos on my bike and it's a quick shot type of job. I need to know on the fly that the camera is actually recording. I wish these action cameras would put either a bigger flashing lite for that mode or a couple more on the body of the camera to see, especially when the waterproof case is on it. Thanks again. What annoys me is some of these budget action cameras actually have touchscreens but they serve no purpose while recording you can't zoom you can't use them to stop recording or anything. I do most of my videos while cycling and I find mounting the camera to my ball cap works best and it's easy to start and stop recording
@TheRenderQ what mount/accessory from the box did you use to secure the camera to your backpack strap at the beginning of your video like that? It's not in the waterproof case, which looked like it was mandatory to mount it to anything

What options exist to download the files from the camera. The manual says you need to use iSmart DV2 app on your mobile. Is there a way to download directly to your PC? downloading to your phone, and then uploading again to your PC and online storage takes VERY long.
2 very important questions please can you record while charging ? if you have the camera out side the car window and the connecting microphone inside the window camera will record with out the wind noise is that correct? thanks
Just bought this off amazon for 85,lost my Akaso Brave 7 today while mtn. biking,what sucks is the 7 u have to use the outside case in order to mount it & its pops open very easy or breaks like in my case,I have a Gopro 12 also,the Wolfang looks better than the Akaso 7 & the Akaso Le which I had & sent back
It might be a bit late in reply but if you still need to buy one get a 128gb U3 specified card. That's what they recommend. I use a SanDisk one and they're very reliable.
Low light is quite bad. No good stabilization and no good sharpness ... just like pretty much any action camera even including the latest GoPros. I've compared it to the GP10 and the Wolfang GA420 was just a bit better .... but any $500 phone will be much better during the night.
Thanks for reviewing, but nahhh. This camera has zero dynamic range. I'd rather spend 5 times the money on a camera that I can actually use for good footage. I guess the Wolfang is more like a toy that way.
