Another epic by team Going Overland. Such a great overview and feel for Wolf Creek Crater. Now I know why everyone loves your videos. You wait in line, pay for the fuel, do the travel, setup camp, do all the cooking and van repairs and we just sit back and enjoy another great bit of outback Australia for free!! Cheers everyone and safe travels.
Thanks Mac Access, it's a amazing country to show people. A lot of extra work doing these videos, but I enjoy the extra challenge. And when I get a comment like yours, so motivating, thanks for the support!
Thanks Anthony, it was spectacular and I haven't forgotten how it made me feel. I love the outback and Wolfe Creek is one of our highlights 😍. Cheers for the support 👍
Haley and Joe look like they might have a future in tv presenting, maybe on a travel show, Leyland Brothers style? 😉 Great ep guys, the crater looked massive!! I hope you get the trailer brakes fixed with minimal fuss, and can continue on your journey.
Thanks Peter, they are loving the camera, we have so much personal footage of them that I need to start their own videos and channel 😀. I never thought the trailer would have stopped us in our tracks
@@GoingOverland re the trailer... it's often the ones you least suspect. I hope all is well again and I look forward to seeing your latest episode tonight. Keep well
"If you go into the woods today you're in for a big surprise...." Wolf Creek movies, yup, don't watch before going there 😃 Great drone footage of the crater. Hope all goes well with the trailer.
WOW, absolutely stunning scenery and I love the pics of the milky way at night, so beautiful. Such a shame t ended with the wheel giving out on you I feel so sorry for Adam, that must have been a real devil to work on. Safe travels and look forward to your next video.
Thanks JuMur. It's a stunning site. So worth the risk for us to see before we could get parts. Those night pics have no editing or filters too, straight off the cheap dslr camera. Night times are amazing
Guys, Guys, Guys (& Gals)….”…what if we broke down…” . You jinxed yourselves! Positive vibes only please….lol. We need you to keep going and continue with the great uploads. Adam is a trooper and I’m ‘positive’ he can fix the vans hub & brake. The crater looked real interesting. Stunning scenery. Definitely worth visiting. Cheers
🤣 your right, we did jinx ourselves! It's a amazing place too, so happy we finally got to see it. But we have 2 options fix the brakes or wait 3 days for a tow truck.
Added to the bucket list ✅ Stunning! Hayley and Jo doing great at the RU-vid thing 👍 Poor Adam! Must be really stressful. Fingers crossed it was straightforward to sort out and didn’t hold u up too much guys 🤞🤞🤞
Thanks Kathryn, it is truly remarkable. It is so worth the the drive down. No regrets. We had 2 options go to NT for parts or see Wolfe Creek and the Bungle Bungles and hope everything holds together.
love your work as usual guys. What a speccy place on earth is the crater. I hope you sorted the brake without too much swearing mate. See ya next week.
😅 is something really fixed if you don't swear a couple of times? Wolfe Creek is a stunning place, it was so worth the risk with all the issues we have
The stars are one of the best things about being out there. Its surprising how few people notice that. Electric drum brakes often do that where you are and been.Generally just have to get all the dirt out and make sure the actuator arms are sliding smoothly. No dramas.
Thanks mate, those night pics have no editing or filters straight off the cheap camera. Love the nights out here. Just a shame we can't get parts in kununurra, is been a on going issue at this stage in the trip
Great video again thanks, you've given a very different view of the place, awesome !!. I saw the movie years ago, I had nightmares for at least 6 months afterwards. Not a good movie to show the kids IMO. Hope the brake repairs were successful, . . . . . but it was just a Wolfe Creek vibe thing !! LOL !!. Take care and stay safe, Cheers.
Thanks Kev, it was a nervous time heading to Wolfe Creek, but it's nothing like the movie. The place is absolutely stunning. So unique, and not a lot people make the journey.
@@GoingOverland I have to wonder whether the film has put more people off travelling there, than the curious who wish to see it, either because of the film, or geographical interest ??, Your drone work was spectacular !!. Cheers.
Looked iffy but it's a full size car stand with a large base that was cover by the dirt. We also put the tyre underneath. But probably should have put the stabiliser legs down too. We always give it a big shake before the wheels come off too
Yeah if I had known how hard it was to get parts in kununurra we would have done it differently. But no regrets, breakdowns are always something you remember. Thanks Kevin
Perfect spot for family movie night of "Wolf creek" ...kids would love it..🙄..another top episode and scenery 👌..except for the break down..hopefully you managed a roadside fix and I'm sure other travellers would have offered help....have to wait for next vid..
I have heard that. The tank repair did stop the leak until the fuel heats up and expands causing pressure to build and the fuel to force its way out. I don't think anything other than a weld will stop it. Cracking the filler cap a couple of times a day gets the pressure out
Another stunning location. 😍 One that is definitely on my own bucket list. 😎 Wish I was out there with you guys, if for no other reason that I could help with that trailer wheel.
after all the time and effort that goes into producing these videos on the run, for people to enjoy and learn, for free; apart from just keeping the show on the road, and enjoying what they set out to do, your witless comments, to make yourself feel important, are absolutely anal, and best not shared . . . . .
@@brentmcd12 Not having any of your work to compare it to, I think that there are far more creators on you tube that are in need of your obvious expert unsolicited commentary than this channel. You've missed the point of the whole exercise. If it upsets your sensitivities so much, just stick to watching commercials.
