Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is ruined by comedy and cringe. Unlike Wolfenstein: The New Order and The Old Blood where it had a dark and gritty story where you kill an army of Nazis. Don’t get me started on Wolfenstein: Youngblood. That what this game series became now.
@@assassinwolf2719 oh yea i was laughing real hard at the abuse Blazkowicz suffered at the hands of his father, the scene where frau engel cuts off carolines head right in front of Blazkowicz when he literally just woke up from being torn to shreds by a granade 20 fucking minutes ago. The game is such a comedy you are so right
@1:40 "Death at the gates again. Howling my name C'mon in old buddy Sorry I made you wait". That line right there sends straight up chills up and down my back. Great work guys.
It sounds even better once the whine comes in after you've fired it continuously for a bit. The Lasergewehr is one of my favorites, up there with the Hammergewehr.
Isn’t there more of them? I feel like they needed to tone it down so that it wasn’t just running away from the fight half way through cause “oops no more ammo”
I kinda wish there was some dialogue somewhere of Billy and Sigurd talking, because I feel he can definitely relate to her as a friend being someone who also came from an abusive parent. Difference being Billy had two parents, one who loved him unconditionally
Fun fact when the oberkomandos alarm was going off and saying to have papers ready germany is actually obsessed with people having their paperwork and they only take german paperwork
From what I see it, Grace was kind off testing Sigrun in a way: it is implied Grace did this on purpose to see if Sigrun can stand for herself, like the time Grace did it to BJ with the fake grenade. While perhaps not close as "besties", they're surely respecting each others.
One thing that always bothers me in video games: for the most part, armor doesn't work like that. If your weapon can breach it, you only need one round. If it can't, a thousand won't help you.
@@Brndonk A good point. I should've been specific. I was talking about the metal armor on one of the bosses in particular, and also about metal armor in general. Shermans could pelt at a Panzer all day, with their little guns, and unless they hit a lucky weak spot it wouldn't matter; they were never getting through. Meanwhile a Panzer could knock out a Sherman with one clean hit, almost anywhere on the tank.
@DaveC2729 I wasn't trying to prove you wrong 😅 cause to be fair, you did say "for the most part". But i honestly had to think about it for a second. The way you described armor was the first time I've heard it in that way, and that was a very simple but helpful way to look at it. Really cool too. Ceramics and bullet-resistant glass was meant to shatter by design so you can also say it doesn't apply here maybe.
@@DaveC2729; bullshit. There's no impenetrable armor. ANY armor can be weakened by constant impact. When it comes to metal this reality is even more striking. In the Middle Ages body armor was mandatory until the advent of firearms made it obsolete. The adoption of ablative armor in modern warfare shows how completely wrong you are as they were created precisely to avoid damage caused by continued attacks from inferior weapons. There's no Vibranium or Adamantium in the real world....
@@DaveC2729lmao you are getting your information from the wrong place. A sherman could easily knock out most german tanks, the only ones it struggles with were panthers or tigers and even then thats a 76 Sherman's job to take those out (or any tank destroyers such as the m10). Also armor will deteriorate after enough hits no matter the size of the weapon hitting it or the quality of the armor
I hoping for a wolfenstein new colossus aftermath DLC. Seeing BJ vs cybersuit Hitler. New powerful guns, every character has happy ending. I dont understand why they COULDN'T made this DLC.
You missed the best cutscenes where drunk Fergus is going wild in the hangar bay with the chopper and the post credit scene where he is screaming like he usually does.
This game was a f*cking masterpiece, the acting, the action, the character developement for Sigurd and the loss, the shock value, and the cinematically. I loved every second of the game playthrough. Amazing.
Bruh… Pokemon did that a decade prior … As did Tales of Symphonia… As did God of War 2… As did Tekken 1 back in 1994… And Metal Gear Is that enough examples?
@@bass_pro_hat_dude Not pissed, just was baffled at that comment, but not as much as seeing two replies from the same person in the same time span. lol
Its crazy just what all he went through when he was a child and then as an adult the trama he went through would break some people. Also how much his body has been through its surprising that he was able to survive before he got a new body.
I like how realistically, you dont need to kill Hitler in the entire series. Because he technically has already killed himself. I mean the guy fears for his life to the point he left for VENUS. And even then he didn't feel safe. In his current condition it even just looks like he only has a few days to weeks left to live anyway. Thats assuming however that the Regime hasn't simply been propping him up on whatever they physically can to keep using him as the figurehead. Generally though, his mental capabilities are that of modern-day Biden who had been inhaling molten lead for the last month. While his body is as good as a fully rotten grape. The guy looks loke its a miricle he is even still alive after so many years. Tbh, I am surprised he is even as mentally capable as he is still. But also just as surprised that he had such a small guard force if he is such a massive part of the Nazi regime. You'd think that regardless of the actors being there, they would add so many guards at every turn in the entire building. Was a slight bit disappointed when I found out though they cut out a small scene where you confronted Hitler in his room. And he tells you to just hurry and kill him, since he died decades ago anyway when he lost all his power, and became nothing more than a name for people to use as if he was their god... or something like that. I will note though, the one thing that doesn't seem to have deteriorated with age is his aim. My guy fucking doesn't ever miss a shot, and even when just looking to the side to shoot someone, he doesn't flinch or miss, he hits right through the heart.
You know a character is despicable and irredeemable when you want to kill him more than you want to kill the main villain. Edit: I’m talking about Rip.
It still ticks me off they F*ed up the sequel of this game with that horrible cringe of a game. The only way I could see them possibly fixing the story now it is to say it was a simulation.
