The Wolfenstein franchise has been around since the 1980s. Gamers have been exterminating Nazis for nearly 30 years and you guys only started complaining now? For the gamers who can't wait for the new Wolfenstien, give Bioshock Infinite a go. Excellent graphics, tight controls, similar alternate historical timeline, a very relevant storyline about the current state of affairs.
John So bioshock infinite had awful controls and poor gameplay, the only upsides were killing racists and the characters Booker, and Elizabeth. The rest of the game sucked.

Sulfen for what I've seen from Doom for the Switch, I'd say this game will be solid. As long as the graphics look good enough it's fine by me. You can't really expect a hybrid portable smaller than the PS4 to be outpuing the same horsepower. As a college student with a decent gaming rig, the Switch's portability is a main selling point for me who's always out and about.

Wolfenstein New Order was the very definition of a sleeper hit. A story focused, single player only, revival of the wolfenstein franchise should neved have worked, but work it did. Funny, tragic, beautiful and joyfully absurd. Bring on the new crazy train! Bring it on and hook it straight to my veins.
It's a shame it had little to no replayability, no online nor secondary modes to play, and redoing the story without being able to skip those long cutscenes and empty moments in the base felt way too boring for me.
Andrea M Fair on the replayability, but the game was long enough to be worth the initial purchase, the gameplay was satisfying (for me at least), and the fact it didnt have online let them focus on the gameplay itself. Would online REALLY have helped it any if it meant the main game would suffer?
I semi-disagree with the replayability. The choice you make at the beginning on who to save makes (very) subtle differences, that had little to no effect on the overall game, but was nice to see how it changed the resistance. Then the gameplay itself allowed for a stealthy, knife throwing, sneak-through, or a two machine gun blazing, balls to the wall run-through. I waited several months between play throughs, and had a blast both times. Since it's been so long since I played it, I'll probably fire it up in September to refresh my memory. To me, it was well worth the price, as I have plenty of other options for online play. (and games like Battlefront, that I paid more for, and was greatly let down, and have played for significantly less time) To each their own though.

Dank Ninja Wolfenstein II comes out on October 27 for other consoles and next year for Switch, Super Mario Odyssey comes out October 27th on Switch, Doom's release day has not been confirmed
This trailer puts the biggest f****** smile on my face. I honestly couldn't be happier that this game is coming out in a month and a half and the game really could not look better than it does. this hopefully will be much like the first Wolfenstein the New Order, and be one of the best first person shooters in years.
I fucking love Wolfenstein and Doom, I'm a simple guy, so if a game is as simple as "There's the goddamn Nazi(Demon) threat and you're the goddamn Nazi(Demon) Killer, so do what you do best and kill every single one of them in sight." I'm going to fucking buy it.

I just finished the main story, killing Nazis in any way imaginable: Shooting them, blowing them up, disintegrating them, disemboweling them, ripping out their throats, tossing axes tomahawk-style into their skulls, burning them, dismembering them... And noticing all the notes and letters from their friends and families...BUT I HAVE NO REGRETS! AHHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! But seriously, this game is great for reasons other than getting your alternate history Nazi massacre kicks. The story's simplistic, but fun; it begins and ends with you feeling pumped, particularly at the end with the credits accented by a metal version of We're Not Gonna Take it Anymore. There are some genuinely emotional bits where I actually screamed "oh my god" out loud.

I've been playing Wolfenstein since I was a small child. My first was Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Then I went back and played through 3D. Then I played Return To Castle Wolfenstein. Then I played The New Order. Then I played The Old Blood. I also saw the reveal in the Quake Champions announcement where The_New_Colossus can be seen in the directory. I will pay full price.
Wolfenstein 2009 had such shitty marketing that I didnt even hear of it until years later when TNOrder came out. At that point the bad mechanics and weak story made me ignore it.

Germany at the time was the most technological nation on earth by 10 to 20 years, they had some of the first jet fighters, first assault weapons such at the STG44 and advance medicine which is ironic to say. So with the advance tech in the first game in the 40's and then most future advance tech in the 60's it most likely to believe that Nazi's have come up with medical advancement to help Frau Engel to get back some what normal. Hope that make sense.

Guys i found out my Great Grandfather was a really big fan of Wolfenstein he has the exact same uniform he even as a flag with the Wolfenstein logo to prove it but i think he played the German version because he has manual called "Mein Kampf" so i'm guessing he only got to play the weird version.
