Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus end credits music - We're Not Gonna Take It, written by Daniel Dee Snider, cover by Veilröth. Audio ripped from game files.
Some complain that she didn't have a boss fight, but that suits her well. Deathshead had one because he was a brute force inventor who liked fucking with Blazkowickz, and was big enough for the series to go out with a bang. She was manipulative with words, barely able to fight physically, but able to command shitloads of assholes. Also, she ran a concentration camp, so fuck that bitch. Besides, fighting those damn black hole robots was as much of a boss fight as I needed.
exactly, those fucking robots were hard as fuck, it took me over 50 attempts on do or die difficulty and i wasn't able to make it, i made it on 10th attempt on bring'em on
I would've like to see her death be a little slower, maybe do the same thing she did to him and cut her head off and show it to the camera, would've been a nice touch.
DG Filmz ooh that sounds pretty good, that would've been a nice touch. I'm already excited for the next game, a lot of people didn't like new collosus but it's my favourite out of the three so far. New order 2nd and old blood 3rd
This and halo and mass effect end credits just amazing. Literally watching this amazing metal performance of twisted sister. This is literally fucking mind blowing
@@Malos_ It's a semi thrush version. Completely different genre. I am 50 yrs old, love Rock genres from 70's to underground, independent, punk and thrush. This is brilliant thrush version of the song of Twisted Sisters.
The Partisan fitted well with The Old Blood, we all knew that despite the efforts of B.J getting the folder with the map, they were doomed. But despite what people say, this one fits well too, optimistic, ready too fight with anger after all of what B.J has been through.
this is exactly what i’ve been saying for years, old blood ends with the beginning of a suicide mission while new colossus ends with the beginning of a revolution. the songs are very different but they both work perfectly for their stories
Nationalist Spainball I do have this theory that doom and Wolfenstein take place in the same universe with Billy being the ancestor to the space marine in doom
I really liked this game, and when this kicked in at the end, I felt like the greatest badass on Earth ready to start a revolution. It fit perfectly. Why is there so much hate on this?
Because after putting out Old Blood, bethesda somehow made this, the gameplay is worse, Level design outright bad, the difficulty spikes horrible, no final boss, the story has a massive cliffhanger, and compared to Mick Gordon's metal, or any of the last 3 game's music, this is objectively the worst music ever to be put in a Wolfenstein game
@@Neo2266. first of all the OST is still by Mick Gordon and the end credit song is never from the OST of a game. Then how can you say the gameplay is worse, it is the same if not better, I mean there are literally no changes between this and New Order/Old blood (only difference being the movement speed when dual wielding, which is amazing imo) so how can you say the gameplay is bad?? We can talk about the story and level design all you want but the gameplay is rock solid, some of the best in decades
This game was so fucking metal. Chopping Nazi's to bits with a hachet. Straight out of a death metal music video if u ask me. That's why this song is perfect
didnt like this version at first. but i come to appreciate how much angrier and "bigger" it is. In context its about revolting against a global empire, compared to the original which is more about defying the expectations of your parents being too controlling of you as a teenager. Same principle but different scale.
The game is so good it made me feel like the song was made for the game because of how well they integrated the “if that’s your best then your best won’t do”lyric into the game
It pains me to see that some people have never heard of this game. A couple of days ago at school I overheard my friends talking about call of duty and other FPS games and when I asked them if they had ever played Wolfenstein II they asked me “what’s a Wolfenstein?” Very underrated game
I remember a few years back everybody was talking like this was one of the worst songs ever made, and even I bought into it. But I'm here again and I kinda dig it lol. The instrumentals especially are awesome.
I don`t think killing hitler would make any difference at all (despite a symbolic one ofc). As we saw, he is obviously old, sick, and out of his mind and probably has no control over anything else than his movies. he lives in his bubble while others are actually in charge.
For all the shit they got for choosing this song in their ending credits, I think it fits the game pretty damn well. It's not supposed to be pretty or likeable. It's supposed to be tough, gruesome, violent and even a little bit insane. Like or dislike the song - you can't argue that it doesn't fit the game or specifically the main character.
I fucking love metal, from the dawn of to current, pretty much every genre. But man, the vocals in this cover most of the time feel like one of the shitty metal disney cover tracks. He has such a range of voice and growls, it just seems dumb for him to have gone full vocal fry when he very well could've thrown in some power vocals for the chorus and saved the screams for the end breakdown, which would've made the breakdown much more intense as well.
Thanks a lot! It was when I finished the game(and not very soon, either), when I realized what I was listening to. Can you also tell me how I can I rip things like this from the game? I tried "dragon unpacker" as I did with other games, but without much success.
A genre of metal. However, I'd classify this as almost as nu metal. It isn't even close to djent imo. Djent is more like Born of Osiris, Volumes, and Periphery to name a few (in case you want to check any examples out) Hope i helped :)
Many people thinks the original would be better, I disagree. This fits better with the music style, atmosphere and aggressive tone of the game. The original is good but it is far more uplifting and good spirited as apposed to this cover version. Just my opinion though.
I think it's a tadbit too heavy. It just doesn't fit the rest of Wolfenstein's soundtrack. Pretty sure Mick Gordon could have made it fit, kinda like the credits song in Old Blood. Even then I think it sounds too modern. The game takes place in the 60's after all so in my opinion, some heavy version of some 60's rock song would have been a better choise
Guys, I know we all have different tastes and opinions, but it would be nice if we just realize that we all finished an awesome game, a work of art, and we're also here for the reason that we appreciate this kind of song, or this specific song, this cover, or the original, and to me, that's all that matters. - Wyatt
