after a really hard day at work you made (at least) my evening with this upload on your channel! i am curious: in which playlist did the song end up? did i miss it in your comment? shame on me that i didn‘t get it that the ending of the video abrupt- wasn‘t my intention 😕 vagelis karzis „vag“ is the new phenomenal lead guitarrist of wolfheart. i like the new cast with the plus of a great voice. but some fans were not so positive about this change… as always 😉 the king from their latest album is such an awesome song- the live performance blew me away (as you saw on my insta post last year)🤘🏻
Hi all you fans of the channel and hi, my friend Wolf: One more day with you. Wolfheart is a very well known band in Europe, not as much as Nightwish, but they don't pretend to play in the same league either. And Tuomas Saukkonen is their undisputed leader, in his own right, being one of the master minds of metal today. Almost all the bands where he has participated, a lot, as you well said [Before the Dawn, Black Sun Aeon (this one especially!! where Tuomas Saukkonen sings and plays guitar, bass, drums and keyboards) Dawn of Solace, The Final Harvest... .)] are top notch and have that magical touch that makes their music sound totally exciting and well structured. Definitely, this guy is a music making machine. Rather, a machine for making GOOD music. Also, Tuomas, with that bad-boy face he has, as you say in your video, is an excellent person. A few years ago, I think it was in... 2018 or 2019, at a Wolfheart concert to which, sadly, very few people attended, he spoke after the show with those of us who were still in the room an hour after finishing, in the small but powerful bar of the Sala X in Seville, place of the concert, showing a more than obvious charisma. What more could you ask for? That's finland education. You know? Something surprised me. After an exhausting concert, in that time that he was speaking with part of the public, he did not drink a single drink of alcohol, while the rest of us enjoyed our beers, whiskies, etc... he devoured quantities of cream and chocolate ice cream. Well, it was Seville, summer, about 40-42 degrees Celsius (104-107 degrees Fahrenheit) In each of his works it is perceived why Saukkonen is one of those respected guys in the environment, his contribution is great and he is perceived to improve with the passing of each album. I think my favorite songs are still the awesome Routa and Zero Gravity, though the choice of Everlasting Soul (with that opening acoustic crescendo) and The King, they are also excellent. In short, first-rate Melodic Death, with strong and well-executed instruments, a somber and atmospheric tone, both, instrumentally and lyrically. As always, big hug from Spain 🤘✊🤘
RU-vid doesn't delete comments from what I understand. Typically what happens is if RU-vid suspects a problem comment, they will set it aside for me to review. Then I can decide what to do. However I do not see anything there either. Not sure what went wrong there. Maybe a server issue of some kind? I can, on my end, allow you to bypass the filter altogether in case that still had something to do with it. Hopefully that will reduce the problem in the future.
You should really dig deeper about Tuomas Saukkonen projects. A lot of his bands like Wolfheart he started as a one man army playing all the instruments. My favourite of his band is Before the Dawn, whom are making a comeback this year with a new singer. Not totally sold about that but the old songs are absolutely legendary. Check out Mist of Nihil, Aetherian's old side project. The Lake & The Last Wound of Gaia. (all of their songs are great... 😁) The bear suit guy has his own 1 man project called Shade of Sorrow. (also in my created playlists on my channel)
Try listening to my Insomnium reaction. I discuss vocals and how they make me feel in the commentary after the reaction. You can also checkout Kardavox Academy's channel were they teach complex vocal singing and remember, not everything is for everybody 🤗✊🤘
