The Guitar-Intro is original from the great german rockband Böhse Onkelz. Its the song " Wir sind immer für euch da" from the 1991 Album " Wir ham noch lange nicht genug". Watch here on RU-vid, search for : Onkelz wir sind immer für euch da
@Pieper001 I don't think Wolfmother listens to Böhse Onkelz (they're not famous outside the german language zone). This intro is really, really easy to play and as there are countless bands in this world it's no wonder that 2 bands use it. Plus: Andrew Stockdale said he wrote the song while listening to "All Along the Watchtower (Jimi Hendrix version)".
I guess a lot of people seem to like them, but I just don't see it. Rose Hill Drive does the heavy power trio thing much better. But w/e, it just comes down to taste.
this song is great, they need to put somebody on bass in it if the bassist is gonna play keys. It's sad to see such a great band lacking a much needed 4th member. wolfmother is great though, no disrespect.
@chutney674 Playing keys has always been cool... Modern music just phased it out... look at bands 40-50 years ago, almost every single one had an organist.
His singing is probably a little worse on this song since its the last song in the show.. But its LIVE! not studio. So dont expect him to sing just like in the studio..
@Kekkeyu ok just wanna say that intro is pretty hard to play certainly when your running around the stage (i once saw a vid he actualy fucked up half of the time cause of the running around...was still cool though ^^) and for the rest well lest just say all bands get inspired by eachother take led zepplin for example alot of their best songs are half ripped off from others or sometimes even almost the same with diffrent title so even the best bands copy
